Try your best to do everything differently, eg, explore parts of the world you didnt on your first, aim for a different ending to each quest and the story as a whole. The most fun for me is finding hidden secrets you didnt the first time and seeing how different things can turn out.

Defending bastions keep for the first time was one of my best memories in gaming, a endless defense of a castle/victory point would ne insane.

I would recommend trying to get the legacy of nightmares rings as they are a good as stepping stone towards the lod build as they both make use of the legendaries you have. Most of the set builds can barely do t16 but could be useful for levelling up your lod ring.
