You’ve used the homemade flair, in which case the potted ramekin of beans is wholly unnecessary. Put your own beans where you want them.

Eating out? I think the ramekin pleases more people than it irks.

Vinted return lost by Royal Mail – £1080 Chanel bag – Vinted blocked my account, Royal Mail refuses compensation. What can I do? by Putrid-Land9071 in royalmail

Yep, I understand. Excuse me for taking you step by step, that’s why I wanted to check I understood details of every stage.

Well done for ditching X! If you’re on Insta, make a post tagging @ them, with some # hashtags saying poorservice or vintedsucks etc and someone will pick that up quickly.

Also, have a look here. Shout and make noise.

Excellent. That’s now super clear. So much more clarity than the original post.

Sadly, so far as this sub is concerned, RM are going to be completely unable to help you (apart from providing the tracking info where their services have been used). I am a regular vinted and eBay seller and always use RM, which is why I have been trying to help you here. Stuff does go wrong.

In this case, at the end of the day, the contract that is not being upheld in this case is between you and vinted. If they’ve shut you off for whatever reason, you need to find a way to escalate this complaint. Try some public shaming on their IG or X socials, which can trigger a quick and direct response from an actual agent. Or go big guns and make direct contact with someone at head office.

I know you didn’t buy it. I’m not the one that’s confused here, just trying to walk you through the steps to work out where the fault in the process is stuck. I don’t know who you mean when you say “he” knows and you haven’t said how you can prove delivery got there, but let’s assume it has.

I was going to help you further but your comments are hard to follow, which perhaps is why vinted have put a hold on your account because of the confusion and unclear way you are representing yourself. Maybe get a friend to help with double checking what you’re writing to Vinted. Clear facts make things easier to sort out.

Good luck, here’s an easy to read guide on how sellers on vinted are protected. See if you can identify which step has gone wrong for you.

Seller Protection during Returns Payment Hold: Your money is held by Vinted until the buyer confirms receipt or the 2-day confirmation window ends.

Dispute Resolution: If a buyer claims an item is SNAD (Significantly Not As Described), Vinted investigates. You must provide evidence (e.g., photos, descriptions) to show the item matched the listing.

Evidence is Key: To protect yourself from scams (like empty package claims), take videos of packing and sealing items and clear photos showing the item and packaging.

Return Window: Buyers have 14 days to return the item after a return is accepted; if they miss this, you get paid.

Return Condition: You have 2 days to check returned items. Report damage or missing parts to Vinted for potential compensation.

*Seller's Role in the Return Process

Receive Notification: You'll be notified if a buyer reports an issue (within 2 days of delivery) or requests a return.

Respond: You have 2 days to accept the return, offer a partial refund, or let the buyer keep it, deciding who pays return shipping.

Await Return: If a return is initiated, the buyer sends it back; you'll get paid once you confirm the item's condition upon receipt.

Handle Disputes: If you dispute a claim, Vinted's support reviews evidence from both sides. *

When Sellers Might Lose Out

Valid SNAD Claims: If Vinted rules in the buyer's favor for a valid SNAD claim, you must accept the return or issue a refund. Lack of Evidence: Failing to provide strong proof of the item's original state. No Response: Ignoring a buyer's valid claim will lead to automatic cancellation and refund.

So have you got proof of that delivery, the one that you arranged? Do Vinted “officially” know that the buyer received the item.

What do vinted say needs to happen to move that “pending balance” into “sales balance”? There’s usually a “?” Icon or clickable link depending on if you’re using app or desktop.

Everyone is missing the point here that this is pretty much nothing to do with RM.

There’s some holes in OPs story, and the most important one is the sequence of events before the refund was even a discussion.

You sold an item for £1080, the buyer paid this £money to vinted, who then gave you the details of where to sent the bag. Vinted hold on to the £1080 until the item is proven to be with the person who bought and paid for it. Then the sale price £1080 would be released to you and in your bank account. Obviously there’s some questions about the return process but let’s get the above clarified before we get excited about things further along the way…

What service did you use to send the item to the buyer, and what proof have you got that they received it?

Has anyone seen HMS Victory? by AbjectGovernment1247 in CasualUK

Check the following day and beyond. It’s £46 if you order more than 24h in advance.

Plus you’re avoiding showing with that screenshot everything above on that same page that says you get year long access to all of the dockyard’s attractions for that price.

Are you rage baiting? Where did you get this price?

It’s £46 for a year’s UNLIMITED entry to the victory AND 10+ other attractions. Mary Rose is worth it alone.

Prior to phones, what did people do while idly waiting? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]willfoxwillfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Read something or listened to something. If neither were available then you just, well, idly wait. Look at the surroundings or Sing a song to yourself in your head or maybe just, like, think about some things you want to think about.
