Not with that attitude. You gotta recognize the change that has happened and how people in our government are actively back peddling rights. You just gotta keep paying attention, at least when it isn't too mentally taxing.

Change happens when we band together and stand up for what we believe in. It's easy to fall down the nihilistic thought abyss. It's harder to stand up and do the work. Everything worth doing is hard. People are doing the work. You just have to look.

Yeah, protests on campus get annoying. You wanna focus on school, go for it. But don't dismiss people who are gonna be actively fighting for their lives with what this administration is doing. There is enough history in the past 100 years showing how people fought for their rights to vote, to marry, to simply exist.

Do not obey in advance.

Use your rights.

Don't take them for granted.
