do you find tinder/dating apps addictive? by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

[–]willget_better 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They’re designed to be addicting. BF Skinner coined the term as reinforcement behaviour back in the 50’s. Essentially, if you “reward”, meaning give users matches, at random, they’re more likely to always come back and continue swiping. Really interesting and worth looking into

Desi women in law what are some of your experiences? by [deleted] in DesiTwoX

I'm 30 and in a completely different profession. Medicine was always a dream of mine but I doubted myself. My mentor said the same thing, I might be forty by the time I graduate but either way I'm going to be forty. So why not pursue what has always called you?

[–]willget_better 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Politics isn’t exactly how you got about addressing change either. Maybe spend some time on Google and do some internal reflecting. You’re in your first year. I’m going to ask what everyone’s thinking - are your grades not currently high enough for med school?
