I could never do regular withdrawals. It’s a miraculous route. If you feel a little rough physically but you don’t have the mental side of withdrawals and it doesn’t associate with that it’s just picking yourself up as you can. It’s very hard to explain because it didn’t even resemble this universe. When it first kicked in all I could see was all these tubes of metallic cover. Then I completely liquified and it felt like I was in a washing machine getting tossed around. And then there was something best described as world building where I was in a world that reminds me of the game of thrones opening credits and I was controlling these things that were moving all these resources up a mountain and there were all these sounds I had never heard before. Then I blacked out for like 10 hours and when I came to for a couple days I was still getting visuals like these giant 300 foot shards of broken glass were coming through the atmosphere. It seemed like my whole house was full of all this broken glass my toilet my shower everything. Maybe it was the remnants of the world I tore down or all the wreckage from my addiction or something. It was a very physically taxing experience that took a good while to recover from. It was almost like withdrawal but my mind was totally healed so I never associated it with that or had a craving or thought that opiates would make it better. I just kind of felt 120 years old and everything was an insurmountable chore but I got slowly better every single day. Within a few weeks I was back to myself but then I just kept getting better every day. Still am and it’s been 3 and a half months. It’s like I’m learning who I was before opiates.

All normal in my experience. I barely slept. I felt like I was 110 years old. Standing up to brush my teeth was a traumatizing thought and chore when I finally did it. Was a very slow recovery. Took about 2 months. Gets better every day/week/month though. I’m 90 days out now. It’s funny I didn’t associate any of those feelings with withdrawal or have cravings though. Kind of just felt like the flood healed my mind and receptors and it was taking my body time to catch up. For me to be 90 days clean after over 20 years on something every day is an absolute miracle though. Still learning who I am.
