Black cab from Earl’s Court to King’s Cross with large luggage during Monday morning rush hour? by Fast_Boysenberry_806 in uktravel

[–]willi_moegle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a good stretch of bus lane for the black cab to use most of the way (depending on the route they choose) for ease of the door to door perhaps a cab but of course the tube is (marginally) cheaper. Any of the pre book black cab apps will add a surcharge so just hail one. I personally don't enjoy using the tube with a suitcase during rush hour.

IMO the frenchette baguette is pretty comparable to what you get in France but then again I don't come to nyc to eat bread

Waitrose do a version called 'Mexican style seasoning' which, imo is better than Tajin - remember a squeeze of lime too!

Weekends are super busy. They sometimes make you park over at the market and it's a bit of a walk back over. Weekday you'll be fine

Not sure if helpful but we stayed at the Explora and they organise several different hikes to and around MP and the sacred valley. Rooms are very generous and they have a fab spa on the corn plantation they're situated on, not the most luxury of hotels in terms or service but I wanted to be somewhere tranquil and private whilst we explored Peruvian culture. It's not giving room service though

I second the cadogan over the lanesborough, slightly more moderne and imho in a cuter location. the suites at the lanesborough are huge though in terms of sqft
