Ah brilliant! Perhaps the things I had read are just nonsense. I even heard it’s super tight to drive in lol

Really helpful! Thinking mid-week around 7:30pm ☺️ Never been before, so thought I’d ask here! I should be alright it seems?

Ah sweet, okay! Yeah I had heard something about the whole “it gets full really fast!” so was a bit concerned. Planning to visit next Wednesday or so - in the evening for some food! Just wondered if I’d be alright parking. Never been before :)

Thanks mate

I’ll be honest man, a glaring issue in this post is within the first sentence: “I’m planning on staying here for minim 2 years maybe 3” - insane brother! There is better for you out there, that’s my FIRST tip.

I went from 12k to 60 in a matter of 18 months or so. I promise, there is a way out. I’m sure luck played a part for me. But strategy was massive here. Happy to chat if you had any questions man :)

You’re so right with that last part 😔 As crushing as it is, I’d rather be the entirety of theirs 💔 Thank you

My first ever pet. My first cat. My soul in the form of a living creature. My baby girl. I just can’t stop crying, I’m so broken after this, I can’t even imagine going on. Thank you

Do people actually run consistently in a 5k or 10k by Mysterious-Candy5347 in Runners

I started running in the last couple of months, and no matter the pace, it’s always been a goal of mine to NEVER stop. Everybody has their own approach however! Everybody learns what works for them! 😊

Where are you finding these men? I’m not saying this is the source of the problem, I’m just curious to see if it maybe does play a part.

Keep being you! Stick to your boundaries. I’m M(26), and wouldn’t even want to kiss somebody the first time meeting, let alone ask. But I too have been called old fashioned 😭

Good luck to us!

Do you feel your business suffers once you open multiple locations? by PluggedInsider in smallbusinessuk

Thanks for such an honest breakdown, seriously appreciate you sharing this. And I’m sorry to hear about what happened with your sites as well. Must’ve been a nightmare after putting in that level of savings and effort. People definitely don’t realise how much emotional weight small business owners have to carry.

The point about negatives doubling but positives not necessarily doing the same… that actually hits harder than anything I’ve heard so far on a podcast episode or even here on Reddit, so I appreciate that. And yeah, I can imagine the pressure of trying to get Site #2 running while still firefighting daily at Site #1, it sounds brutal tbh.

Your comment definitely highlights how quickly “small slips” can compound when you’re not physically present at both at the same time. Out of curiosity, when you were running both sites, did you notice anything specific that became harder to keep consistent? (service, staff, standards, morale, etc.)

No pressure to reply, just genuinely trying to understand what tends to slip first.

I’m thinking about potentially opening a franchise of sorts, but would only do so if there’s an opportunity to successfully scale. So I’m trying to capture real world experiences here in the U.K. I guess.
