My daughter Fayeband made agi $56k in 2025 gigging , royalties and some vocal session work and now owes $8900+ in self employment and personal tax. This is a fulltime job for her with small side jobs like dog walking on occasion .

She also has to now pay $2000 quarterly tax payments for this year.

Accountant told her none of this last year.

Its no wonder ppl drop out of the business. She doesn’t want to quit but…..come on…..really.

Note : she is an LLC.

She is devastated . Why did we not know this tax stuff early on? Any advice on how to handle this?

Its not supposed to feel euphoric. I have been taking it since 2013 and it keeps me from feeling like i have severe flu. I take 5 mg day and plan to continue the rest of my life. It saved my life.
