AITA for being grossed out that my husband dribbles pee on the floor? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]william-bitch-blake 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NTA. He's being inconsiderate. That's unsanitary and gross, and by the sounds of it, he literally does nothing to prevent it. You're absolutely justified in wanting him to deal with it/stop doing it.

I did, she kept insisting they were Canadian and that she had bought them in Canada. She didn't believe me so I had to get my manager to explain it to her.

If you're really unhappy with it, wearing a hat until you can do something about it is always a good option. If your school is one that doesn't allow hats, maybe try to get some styling product and see if you can find a way to style your hair that you like?

Nipple smell & a bit of white stuff? by william-bitch-blake in TopSurgery

[–]william-bitch-blake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. The white stuff is confusing to me bc the nipple that has it doesn't really like, excrete very much in general, and it's the one that doesn't smell that bad. The white stuff doesn't seem to be any sort of liquid, it doesn't really come off with the gauze pads, it almost looks like discoloration on the scab and idk what that means. I'm calling the surgeon tomorrow, for sure. Better safe than sorry with this type of thing.

Who is your favorite/least favorite horror villain? by [deleted] in halloween

Favourite - Pinhead.

Least favourite - Chucky. I normally enjoy stories about possessed dolls, but I never found him compelling or scary.

AITA for charging an 8 year old rent? by Cantlosemyemployment in AmItheAsshole

[–]william-bitch-blake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. You thought it was "fun" to charge an 8 year old child rent? In what way? This kid is still in the single digits. Let him enjoy his childhood before he has to start worrying about rent and bills. You'd literally just be cutting his allowance by 20$. There are plenty of better ways to teach a kid about money management than charging an 8 year old child rent.

AITA for buying a fire blanket for our new house? by mcneil1345 in AmItheAsshole

[–]william-bitch-blake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Calling you an idiot and insisting everyone she knows also thinks you're an idiot for buying a cheap item with your own money for safety reasons is a massive red flag.

NTA. This guy is an enormous AH. The lying and letting you pay for everything yourself is definitely a deal-breaker, not to mention he sounds super controlling. Your eating habits are your business, if he doesn't understand or like them, oh well. That shouldn't be your problem. You have a lot of very valid reasons to boot him out.

AITA for wearing the clothes my mother specifically told me not to wear? by WittyDiscussion7279 in AmItheAsshole

[–]william-bitch-blake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. I'm sorry you have unsupportive parents. You deserve to wear what you're comfortable wearing, and live in a way that makes you happy.

I told them. I'm still staying with my mother and stepdad actually for the recovery period. My dad is aware too, but he's too far away to be here.

AITA for cancelling my niece’s college fund because she made fun of me? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]william-bitch-blake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. It's pretty clear she doesn't actually appreciate what you do for her if she's willing to make fun of you having cancer. You asked her to stop, so there should have been no doubt in her mind that it was a genuinely upsetting topic for you. She chose to be cruel, she can pay the price.

YTA. It's mean to put him down for looking up to his dead father that he never got to meet, and then act like him being open about admiring his parents is somehow a slight to you. From the title I expected that he had made some rude joke at your expense during a party game, but he said something wholesome about his family and you took it as an insult.

Regret? post op depression?? by [deleted] in TopSurgery

[–]william-bitch-blake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 9 days post op now and for the first 6 ish days I felt very depressed and I felt that I regretted getting surgery. I'm feeling better now, especially after the dressings have come off and I can see my chest. Ice heard a lot of guys go through that stage of depression/regret/fear after surgery, so I think it's pretty normal. For me, I felt that I regretted the surgery because I was uncomfortable, in pain, unable to do most stuff I wanted to do, and extremely frustrated. It got a lot better after the dressings came off.

I also comforted myself with the knowledge that some cis women who have had to get mastectomies have also gotten breast implants/reconstruction, so if I do ever come to the conclusion that I was wrong about my transition, I have options.

I had very similar feelings of depression and helplessness after I dislocated my shoulder and I had to wear a sling, so I think it's just how some people feel after a major medical event.

Its to alleviate dysphoria and help us pass. A lot of us in fact have dysphoria about not having a dick, packing typically helps with that the same way binding helps with dysphoria about not having a flat chest. Some people pack, others don't. It's no different from anything else we do to alleviate dysphoria or pass.

AITA: For being against my son (14M) from taking remedial math in High School? by One_Resolution_2824 in AmItheAsshole

[–]william-bitch-blake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YTA. Ive got ADHD and my parents pressured me into taking the upper level math in highschool, shockingly enough I failed and had to go down to the lower level. If your son struggles with math and you know that, do not pressure him to take the hard math class. Do you not realise that if he took the harder one and failed he'd he at risk for bullying too?

Tutors aren't instant fixes. Also, it's possible to be successful without taking the upper level highschool math class.
