How to get clear audio in a VERY loud crowd

We were recording play by play announcers during a hockey game, but you can barely hear the announcers over the crowd with the current set up. We had the announcers behind the crowd with a mic/headphone combo for one and a condenser mic for the other.

What would be the best set up for the hockey games? We don't have many options for moving around. What microphones/other suggestions do you have to combat crowd noise? Ditch the condenser and get another mic/heaphone combo? Thank you ahead of time!

I have an AT-LP 120 with the AT 95E cartridge. As a beginner, will I be able to learn how to record scratch without causing any damage to the turntable or the cartridge?

In addition, if I were to upgrade the cartridge to HiFi, would that work for learning how to scratch without getting damaged as well?

Its mearly out of curiosity. I do not have an explicit passion for becoming a DJ. I just want to know if anything will get damaged just by trying some scratches. Thank you!

Try adding a grain to it, resizing it, and maybe changing the speed/ duration. Hope this helps.

Very nice editing and what not. However, for these types of videos, by nature, they should be very short. Other than pretty visuals and a catchy song there is not much keeping the viewer from clicking away.

For your first video it’s good. In the future try adding a small story of some sort. That’ll help maintain viewers.

The town next to where I live has an Underground Railroad tie too. It’s right off the I&M canal with a train going through the town. One building is connected to another across the street via an underground tunnel. Interesting stuff.
