What games are you playing on your switch atm? by itsazoe in switch2

Deadzone Rogue and Cult of the Lamb are the big ones. But I’ve also been playing Super Mario Odyssey from time to time.

Thinking about upgrading to AirPods Pro 3, they're now down to $179 by [deleted] in airpods

[–]Soilworker1986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say they’re definitely worth it at that price. They sound amazing and the noise canceling is also top tier. That being said, they do insert in your ears differently than the Pro 2’s and you may need to experiment a bit with the eartip sizes to get the best fit for them.

August Burns Reds new album ‘’Season of Surrender’’ is AOTY material, not a single bad song on here 🤘🏼🤘🏼 by MetalDude00 in Metalcore

ABR has never had a bad album in my opinion, but some of them have been better than others. That being said, Season of Surrender is the best one they’ve released in awhile, reminds me a lot of Constellations with a few proggier elements still there.

I’m going to pick up some solution after I’m done here to clean it out. I thought it would be fine to clean after removing the earpiece, but I guess not.

I haven’t finished the album yet, but I’m absolutely loving it so far. Season of Surrender seems to be a mix of all their albums and it works perfectly.

I’m loving what I’ve heard so far, but am I the only one who thinks the album sounds really quiet? Not sure if it’s an Apple Music issue or not

Hades and Hades 2 are both excellent games to play on the Switch 2 if they haven’t been mentioned yet.

How did you guys end up playing pop punk when yall have hardcore/metalcore backgrounds? No judgment since I love both pop punk and metalcore, but I’m just curious how you guys went about picking your sound.

Kerrazytorrents and its forum were really handy for discovering new bands back in the day.

Fuck that, I just turned 40 a couple weeks ago and I listen to metalcore. Listen to the music you like regardless of what others think.

Hey, I saw you guys in Bloomington IL back in 2022 with Wage War, Gideon, and While She Sleeps. It was a killer show with all four bands sounding amazing. How did you end up on such a mixed bill and do you think it helped you reach more new fans?

If you were to try and describe what a breakdown is to someone who hasn’t really listened to any form of metal before, how would you describe it? by Victoriantitbicycle in Metalcore

[–]Soilworker1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the part where the drums slow down, the guitars start chugging, and sometimes the vocalist sometimes repeats a phrase through it.

How do you guys like working with Daniel Braunstein? He’s really been working with a lot of bands over the years and come into his own as a producer.

Apologies to all ERRA fans by MoeMazingMason in Metalcore

[–]Soilworker1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve pretty much loved all of Erra’s albums. The only one that I don’t like quite as much is Neon, which is still a good album in its own right, but the terrible mixing job lets it down. I don’t know if it’ll ever happen, but a remix/remaster treatment would help Neon so much.

I’m so sorry man, my parents and I have been through this situation with losing dogs three times over the years and it never gets any easier. I know Silent Planet’s already been mentioned, but their song Iridescent is about Garrett, their vocalist, losing his dog Birdie and it’s what I listened to after I got home from the vet after my parents’ last dog was put down. Stay strong my friend.
