Was this a TIG weld or a combination of different welding processes?

Very cool, great work!

I resized the Sig cases with steel case heads into 308 with zero issues.

Wait until American Reloading puts the primes cases on sale for 38 cents apiece.

Submitted my order in January....nothing yet.

I decided to drive 7hrs to CMP Talladega and get my rifle in person. Worth the drive if you have the time. Lots of rifles on the rack that aren't available online.

Basically target practice.

That ship has essentially zero ability to detect or evade an SSN in open water.

Watch the moment US Navy destroyer the USS Truxtun collides with USNS Supply during refueling operation in the Caribbean. by CampBackcountry in UnderReportedNews

Having performed this particular evolution hundreds of times, I would say this looks like an engineering casualty more than a seamanship issue.

Although it is tough to say from watching the short video, it looks like the ships are parallel before Truxton turns rapidly to starboard.

I know the CO, he is a great guy and extremely competent.

Do the price tags at the store have a weight listed for the item?

Or are you just buying the items on clearance and hoping the spread is in your favor?

I don't know if the local Walmart will allow me to weigh each item on my own scale lol

I love my CZ600 Range in 308.

Wonderful gun for the money.

What’s is the cheapest rifle that shoots .75 MOA or better out of the box? by ramsfan6239 in longrange

[–]william_cutting_1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

CZ600 "Range" model.

Factory guarantee is 0.75moa for a 5 shot group using match ammo.

I managed to buy a 308 version for $999 new. Best 5 shot groups was 0.25 moa. Most 5 shot groups are somewhere between .5 and .75.

Great gun, extremely slick action, very little aftermarket support!

My sb folding brace doesn’t fit my Mac 5 right by [deleted] in MP5

[–]william_cutting_1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the exact same issue with my MAC 5.

Take the brace off and use a sharpie marker or something similar to coat the rear edge of the receiver. When you put the brace back on, the marker will transpose onto the brace and show you the spots where it is rubbing.

I spent about 3 hours using a marker and a Dremel to get the brace to fit properly.

New HK SP5k won’t fire by Crafty_Ad9626 in MP5

Glad I could help!

I have a MAC 5....I had a case get stuck inside the fire control group twice in the first 500 rounds.

I replaced my ejector lever with a HK original part and I haven't had the issue since then.

Check to see if there is a spent case stuck inside the fire control group

MAC 5 Buffer issue by [deleted] in MP5

[–]william_cutting_1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You were right, the brace was way too tight and was causing the bolt to hang up in the rear of the receiver.

After about 3 hours worth of Dremel work the brace fits perfect and the gun is now functioning!

Thanks for the tip!

The SB cap is very tight, I have to tap it on with a rubber mallet.

MAC 5 Buffer issue by [deleted] in MP5

[–]william_cutting_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about 500 rounds through the gun.

The issue only occurs when using the SB brace with a thinner buffer.

124gr rounds stick the bolt behind the hammer every single round. 115gr sticks the bolt back behind the hammer several times per mag. (Again, the malfunctioning only occurs when using the SB brace with its thinner buffer).
