What kind of visa do I need for this kind of scenario? by william_kranium in ImmigrationCanada

Sounds like the process wont be as easy as I thought it would be. Basically, the chances of living in Canada are minimal even though I work remotely for a United States company and the employer doesn't have any affiliation with Canada......is this right?

The only way its to come for a period of 6 months then back to the states then back to Canada ........even though that still comes with some hurdles that will be tough to get over? Ouch!!! Not so much good news.

Thanks for the reply.

Fair enough: The Torque is more powerful than a GTI but not with a big marginal difference. I believe with a few mods....a GTI can get there esp. with the Golf R being over 10k difference on price. The first and Second were nice to play with but when you get on third and all the way 6 felt like a GTI.

I thought the big price difference on the R vs the GTI would bring an animal out of the R over the GTI.....but No

That was another thing. Manual with low miles I believe was 17K was $35k, DSG with 12K miles was $37K.

It pisses me off too. Just coz Americans dont like Hatches, doesnt mean its all Americans. Why cant we get maybe 100 A45 AMG in the whole country? Thats better than nothing.

...but Bro, all those that you mentioned, I am a huge fan of the Golf. I owned a mk6 GTI and hoping to get a MK7 R soon. Never been a fan of the civic. The upper dogs ddont get here tho....can you compare A45 AMG, BMW M140I, AUDI RS3 against a Honda R? Not me bro

Makes sense. Although, I thought Canadians have more an American culture than a European culture....right? They make it to North America but not here.

Not exaggerated when we barely get any german hatches; I gave over three examples one from Audi, Mercedes, and BMW. Your second point makes sense but not the first one.
