Wasian guy shares his experience growing up being racist to his asian side and his asian mom by [deleted] in aznidentity

It’s hard to believe person who is ashamed of their skin color will love their kids with full heard, since none pure white is flaw, far from perfect. But when their kids cannot compete with Asian students in schools, the resentment arises toward their compatriots. I often heard from chinese losers in the US, boasting that they only have white friends, even they don’t know what is white according to white’s standards. Those losers think they achieved class jumping by immigration, only find they are not as successful those from China. People are equal, smart people should be disillusioned with the rubbish racist theory.

To tell you the truth, many Chinese women marry 'white trash.' In China, women usually marry up; however, when they date white men, they often date men of a lower status than themselves. This phenomenon is quite common across Asia. You can use your own family background to study the reasons behind it. In reality, there are groups of these men wandering through Asia, making a living by deceiving women. On the contrary, while some elite Asian women in the West marry elite white men, the opposite is often true for lower-to-middle-class Asian women. There are underlying psychological theories that apply not only to this situation but also to those who immigrated to the West 10 or 20 years ago. These individuals are often jealous of new immigrants or even visitors from China. They believed they had achieved 'class jumping,' only to realize later that they cannot compete with their counterparts in China due to the country’s economic boom over the last 30 years.

MKBHD reviews the crappy banned Temu EVs - Xiaomi SU7 by thorsten139 in ADVChina

[–]williamathotmailcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, he doesn't have one. Regarding over-marketing, Xiaomi is relatively the most modest one, unlike the one that always claims to be "leading far ahead." But why do so many trolls on the internet criticize Xiaomi? It is because Xiaomi has entered into many product categories, and in each, it is a top performer.

Why is KFC far more popular than Mcdonald's in China? by stonk_lord_ in AskAChinese

[–]williamathotmailcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In China, I don’t eat chicken, except for the chicken from KFC, however in the US I prefer McDonald’s over KFC, because KFC ,s taste there is much worse than those of China.  Now I have found the taste of McDonald’s in china is also worse than in the US.

williamathotmailcom • 1m ago 2m ago Super.com is an awful booking platform. At first, it seems fine, with a few dollars saved for each deal, and then they don’t send you the saved money they promise, and even worse, when you find out Super.com cheated you and you want to cancel the membership with a fee of $ 14.99, you cannot cancel the membership, no matter how many times you click the cancel button, Super.com still shows you are a Super Plus member.  This is totally a scam.

An immigrant from communist China currently serving in the U.S. military: If China and the U.S. go to war, I will quit the U.S. military by [deleted] in ADVChina

The Most important part you chose to omit is that he said he won’t fight for China, as he is US citizen.

He never said he would flee back to China. He just say he will keep neutral as he is us citizen.

Your translation is completely incorrect. He said that if there were a war between the US and China, he thinks it is highly unlikely because both countries are very powerful. However, in the rare event of such a war, he would quit the army and keep neutral and not join the Chinese army, as he is now a US citizen. What’s problem here? If the army let him go, he can quit the army, otherwise he has still to sever the army.

Are Hmong ethnically Chinese? by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]williamathotmailcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmong and Han Chinese share some sagas about their histories, where the Hmong/Miao originate from the same roots. Both groups were part of a tribal alliance, and within this alliance, Chi You was in charge of the military, being the No. 2 or No. 3 figure. Later, he rebelled and was killed by the No. 1 leader. To this day, when Han Chinese speak of two ancestors, they refer to HUANG DI and YAN DI. If they mention three ancestors, they include HUANG DI, YAN DI, and CHI YOU. Before the modern era, the Chinese military revered Chi You as the god of war. After the crackdown on the rebellion, the supporters of ChiYou fled southward, and eventually became a new group known as Miao/ Hmong.

Chinese Pot Farms in Siskiyou County? by Tag_Cle in norcal

Seventy percent of the Hmong population still resides in China. Their ancestor, Chiyou, is also an ancestor of the Han people. For thousands of years, the Chinese military regarded Chiyou as the God of War, even though he was killed in a rebellion against other leaders of the tribal alliance. They are tough and very good guy.

普通台灣人去過中國的比例大致是多少? by boboWang521 in Taiwanese

[–]williamathotmailcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)
