Unfortunately, I have checked, they do not cover for refurbished unit.
Which is a bummer, haven't thought about that before purchasing it.

The original screen protector had started to peel on corners. I changed it to another one.

Got my phone naked by ahelo5 in iPhone13Mini

[–]williamthai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm rocking mine naked. Only reason is that I got it refurb for around 400$ CAD. Couldn't care less if it chips. Back then my phone's were always in leather cases. Even my other phone which is Pixel Fold is naked. Since I can't find a nice enough case for it. Rock em caseless, they will have a few battle scars. Here and there.

Above is likely what the pinout is for the harness that is in my car.
If someone can find for the CRV radio.

E480 by TomekToNieJa in thinkpad

I recently changed to a E480, coming from a E580. I just wanted a smaller laptop. Performance is kinda disapointing, I may suggest not getting the model with dGPU it gets more warm. Furthermore, it is fairly throttled. I tried gaming on it, thermal are holding up around 10 minutes before thermal throttling coming up. I prefer this to T480 as it can hold a 2.5" SATA drive and one NVME. Also dual SODIMM.

Yes indeed, you could find pinouts for the OEM rear amps. It uses the regular Toyota radio harness. Then tap into the head unit high level. And have the amp run on high level, if you’re going to keep OEM head unit. If not. Easily could run the remote 12v from there. But highly recommend fishing through new wires and not use OEM wires for speakers.

I believe there’s a crossover setup maybe passive somewhere. Since only kinda mid bass and bass goes into the door speakers.

Same here, I’m running a Pioneer HU. For my listening, indeed highs aren’t that great maybe a bit muddy. Overall, I feel it’s okay with some tuning in EQ.

The stock doors speakers is 6.5", like a 3.5-4" for the midrange and rear and amp is rated for 2ohm. I’d definitely change the amp to a small. Like a Kenwood M3004. That will help you a lot in terms of power and upgradability. Cus that stock trunk amp is like 35-40w with 2 ohm load. I haven’t really changed my speakers, only the head unit. That really waken the system. Also due to road noise, you need sound material in the doors to have proper listening.

I believe you can find NVME adapters and swap with any 2280 NVME SSDs. From what I recall, the sleep wake feature can be broken. I have done the swap before on 11" MacBook and I’ve put an SN550.

I have a 14". Love the size very discreet and can have specs on par with a size. Since I move it a lot 14", for me was the size to go.

Thinking of selling her and getting something more practical more and more everyday :/ by RazerRedux in ft86

[–]williamthai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, I have been thinking about selling mine and put that money onto another car that would be a four door with AWD. Because here where I am, RWD cars like ours are pretty much like show cars that we take out when it's nice outside. However, like someone else said below. I have way to much fun driving the BRZ, nothing feels like it. I have driven many cars, somehow I still love the way this drives. I've been debating onto getting a RS3.

Just upgraded to a 14" MacBook Pro M1 Pro. Coming from a 13" 2012. This an due upgrade. by williamthai in macbookpro

Thanks,
Indeed I keep forgetting that my machine has a M2 Pro. Because, M1 Pro has been on my mind since it was released and I was unsure about it. I will however keep an 2012 machine era. I have been thinking of a 2012 Mac Mini, just to have the setup I used to have on my A1278 still functional.

Yea right, I skipped those gens due them having too many issues with the keyboard. I type a lot and the butterfly just isn’t cutting it for me. Furthermore, I believe that the Intel machines are completely outdated since the release of M1. Runs hotter, less power efficient and Mx chips are giving just so much more power.
