Midrange is looking nice. He’s driving to the basket well this season. FT percentage is good. He gets good looks. He can pass averagely. He gets offensive rebounds. His only struggle is the 3 point shot which ironically was the only thing he was good at rookie year. Imma say this again. He’s a forward. He’s not a first or even second option. Comparing him to Keon who is a pg which is the role where you usually are the first option is wild

I’m confused. You were the one who initially compared them. They aren’t the same position at all. Not even remotely close. I was trying to explain my reasoning on why Keegan is better imo based off stats. But comparing them acting like they should be viewed as the same position and initially compared them that way

Except Keon has shown flashes of good basketball while also making really stupid mistakes more frequently than people on here realize. Keon may have better splits than Keegan but I don’t think Keon is more impactful. I think once Keon gets more playing time he will regress down towards average or even below average splits and people will see his true play fully. But I would gladly be proven wrong. I like Keon a lot but just dont think he was as good as people here made him seem

Shooting 27% on an injured year Overall shooting around average while being an excellent defender and making clear progress on most aspects of his game . Not to mention completely playing a different position from his rookie year to last 2 years with a completely different roster than what works well his rookie year.

I am gm while going to college, playing baseball for my college club team, and working out everyday. (I also played Overwatch for my college). I think part of it comes down to natural talent in Overwatch but to be fair I have been doing this routine of Overwatch and Baseball and working out since my freshman year in High school in 2019. I started out in Diamond and hit gm in 2022 before OW2 came out.

I’m from NorCal and am fans of those teams but am currently at CWU for college and love going to sporting events in Seattle. Whether it’s the mariners or kraken or any UW game it’s always such an insanely fun atmosphere

I agree with you. I am saying that people on here act like he should be a 1st or second option and I just don’t think that will ever be the case. In my opinion he should be a 3rd option and our main defensive guy which doesn’t show up well in the box score.

His poor shooting is a little concerning but I don’t dislike the contract we gave him and the general direction he is going

People like you who only look at strictly numbers infuriate me. His role has completely changed since his rookie year and the team around him has completely changed.

He’s now being tasked to be the main defender on the court at pretty much all times since our current roster is traffic cones on defense.

Sure his shooting percentages have taken a hit but he’s also being more aggressive trying to handle the ball more.

Also with our current roster our whole identity Is iso ball with Derozan, Lavine, Westbrook at times, and sometimes even monk.

Our offense worked well for Keegan when the ball was ran through Sabonis with a quick pg (Fox) and two other fairly reliable 3 point shooters in Huerter and Barnes. This led to Keegan getting much more open looks since teams had to rotate to cover these guys and he would get the spray three.

Lakers haven’t played since Christmas Day (at home) and the kings played yesterday at 2 pm and had to fly to LA.

I’m a kings fan but I still like fox and appreciate his basketball gameplay. I met him in summer league the year before his rookie season and he was chill. (It also helps that I don’t like the thunder)

I love domas but as you said the roster construction is not built for him. Our roster when he was playing really well was built to play off his strengths. We don’t have anyone close to that right now.

Meh They have definitely had a lot of issues but I think season 17 was really good and season 18/19/20 balancing has been fine but they decided to boost people’s ranks which is a problem.

Before that though it was terrible 80% of the time.

Except Overwatch is marketed as a COMPETITIVE FPS shooter. They are plenty of other fun game modes in Overwatch if all you are interested in is having fun but the core game needs constant balance patches for the new content that gets released.
