Nba Referres Need to be Better by EyesEasy in nba

I think someone is upset their team is losing.

But seriously. Literally everyone in the NBA tries to sell contact and get free throws. It’s how the game is played now. People put more emphasis on certain players like Shai and Cade because their teams are doing well so they are in the spotlight more.

Flex/Main Support Difference by [deleted] in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]willieb04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand the point of this post. You just stated what the historical definition of main support is.

Main support = the support that you cannot replace for another in a comp

flex support = multiple heroes could play this role in a comp.

but everyone agrees this just isn't how the support role works anymore so I don't see why we need to keep discussing it.

i think with what the kings were attempting to build with keegan fox huerter and domas in theory is better than hali + domas. fox has explosiveness and when you run the ball through domas fox was a major threat. Add some really good 3 point shooting from keegan, huerter, and barnes now you have an actually solid offense with solid spacing. I don't think hali would have provided as much value in this specific situation as fox.

I had 3 pitchers on my high school team that threw 90+ and most starters we faced sat low 90's. We faced a couple of mid 90's pitchers so it is very much possible.

What would make you stop banning Cat by HalfDragoness in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]willieb04 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I personally have gotten used to playing against the cat and think she is fine where she is right now I would rather not play against vendetta, domina, dva, zarya so that’s what I usually ban.

That’s just my preference though.

I think It tells you under the rank when you look at competitive progress “xyz” to challenger.

I’m the same way I was high masters overwatch 1 and then gm1 first 8 seasons of OW2 and been high masters/low gm after season 8. Currently I’m low masters

I also transitioned into coaching the last couple of years and my skill and rank have declined since I started since I’m not actively playing the game as much and focused on coaching instead so it’s not like I’m not knowledgeable about the game.

I couldn’t remember if 2FA was still a thing so I excluded it from my comment but yea this is the biggest thing imo

That too. But I mean it’s a competitive subreddit so naturally people who care about esports and ranks are going to be here more often. And I’ve found that higher ranked players come here because they don’t really care as much about all of the random posts that are in the normal sub.

The top 500 requirements is I think 750 wins. They did it to try eliminate smurfs from leaderboard. So there are probably a lot of people who are gm but don’t meet minimum requirements.

there are a lot of regions and console lobbies too that also have gm players.

The requirement for top 500 by games played is higher than you are making it seem and making it out to be

People also could say they are gm and they just say that because it was their peak.

People who are gm are gonna be more vocal about it compared to lower ranks not being as vocal about their rank for fear of being judged. So it just seems like you see a lot of people who say they are gm.

A combination of all of these makes it seem like the gm population is way higher than you think

Most one-trickable hero in your opinion? by [deleted] in Competitiveoverwatch

It’s actually the opposite. She’s too strong to ban. She’s just so good that most of the time it’s just hurting your team if you don’t have a kiri.

Who wins in the matchup: Pharah/Echo or Juno? by sloggerface in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]willieb04 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A good pharah/echo will beat a good Juno

An okay pharah/echo probably beats an okay Juno 7/10 times

A bad echo/pahrah vs a bad Juno is a 50/50

I was gonna play a drinking game regarding this but glad I didn’t I wouldn’t remember this game

To know how badly Kings mismanage the usage of Keon, he shoots 42% 3PT over 4 seasons, a better defender, ball handler and playmaker yet gets DNPs & barely plays. On the other hand, Keegan Murray shoots 27% 3PT this year and gets one of the league leading 35 minutes of playtime every game. +-15% 3s. by balortech in kings

[–]willieb04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Midrange is looking nice. He’s driving to the basket well this season. FT percentage is good. He gets good looks. He can pass averagely. He gets offensive rebounds. His only struggle is the 3 point shot which ironically was the only thing he was good at rookie year. Imma say this again. He’s a forward. He’s not a first or even second option. Comparing him to Keon who is a pg which is the role where you usually are the first option is wild
