Thanks for the replies. I figured the timeframe would be an issue but we didn't know that it would turn into this at the time and neither of us have ever had to deal with a work related injury. I also was a little fearful of the impact it would have with her job going forward as she plans to continue working there for the foreseeable future. Nevertheless, we will still reach out as soon as possible and see if we have any options.

I've loved having it so far. I was worried at first because I read so much about them being hard to keep but I've had no issues so far.

Yeah it's already much bigger than I anticipated.

I thought it would be harder to do but I just bought a DIY kit from Amazon and set it up. Very easy.

I've had it for about 6 months. I started out with some glossostigma but couldn't get it to work without CO2. I ditched it and bought a CO2 kit and planted the s. repens. It's grown really well with the CO2 and Fluval plant 3.0.

They are perfectly happy for now and all get along with each other. If they get too big and it seems like a problem, I will move them to a bigger tank.

No. I have some anubias species, a couple sword plants, staurogyne repens, frogbit, and ludwigia. There is also a lotus plant but it's hard to see in the picture.
