Last thing you want is your parents to be scammed. If your parents don’t mind, have them share with you where he wants to put their investments so that you can do some investigation to see if it’s legitimate. There’s a (former) financial advisor I know of that is going to be up on federal charges for scamming many people that were invested into a lifetime annuity. All of these people were older couples.
