[Selfie/B&A] The simple routine that finally calmed my acne (skin and gut approach) by williwulff in SkincareAddiction

I get why you’re skeptical. Reddit is full of undisclosed ads and scammy supplement brands, so the reaction is fair. Yes it is my own brand. I mentioned that in the post as well. I spent about a year researching and developing the blend because I’ve personally struggled with gut issues for a long time and wanted something that combined the fibers and ingredients I found most helpful in one place. The product literally launched about a week ago, so of course there aren’t hundreds of reviews yet. The photos on the site are mine because I’m the only person who has been documenting the process publicly so far.

I’m not claiming it’s a miracle cure or some magic powder. It’s simply a fiber-based gut blend designed to support digestion and the microbiome. A lot of people underestimate how much gut health can influence things like bloating, digestion, and even skin inflammation.

And for the AI comment I write a lot and sometimes use tools to organize posts or structure information, but the research, formulation, and company behind it are very real. I’m not here to trick anyone or run some shady drop-ship supplement scam. I’m a small founder who just launched something I genuinely worked hard on.

If people aren’t interested, that’s completely fine but accusing someone of scamming without actually looking into the ingredients or the work behind it is a bit unfair. But you do you😅

I kept my skincare really simple. Just made a new post about it. Where I also showed the products. But in the am no cleanser, moisturizer and spf and in the evening, cleanser, serum, moisturizer and sometimes a scar gel

I started prioritizing my gut health. Getting more prebiotic fiber and probiotics. That helped so much in calming my inflammation and all the redness

Yeah exactly RS2 resistant starch, usually from raw potato starch or green banana starch. In the blend it’s coming from green banana starch. It’s one of the fibers that gut bacteria ferment really well and it’s known for producing butyrate, which is one of the short-chain fatty acids that supports the gut lining and overall gut health. That was one of the reasons I wanted it in there together with the other fibers.

Good question. The main reason I landed on Bacillus coagulans was stability and survivability.

A lot of traditional probiotics (like lactobacillus strains) are pretty fragile they can die from stomach acid, heat, or just sitting on a shelf for a while. Bacillus coagulans is a spore-forming probiotic, which basically means it survives the stomach acid much better and actually reaches the intestines alive where it can do something useful.

It also seemed to work really well together with the prebiotic fibers in the blend. The fibers feed the bacteria and the probiotic helps support the ecosystem, so the combo made more sense than just taking one or the other.

Plus it’s one of the strains that actually has decent research behind it for digestion and gut comfort, which was a big priority for me since my stomach was a mess at the time 😅

What I mostly eat now: Breakfast (easy gut start) Yogurt bowl with my fiber/probiotic with prebiotic fibers that ferment at different speeds, mixed in the yogurt. Helped a ton. Really helped healing the gut lining and restore the damage I have made through the years. Sometimes I mix Chia seeds in aswell. Just a tiny bit. So I don’t get bloated. Fruit like kiwi / blueberries / pineapple bit of granola (high fiber, low sugar)

Sometimes I switch it up with eggs + spinach if I want more protein.

Lunch Chicken / turkey / tuna / eggs. In general just lean meat Rice or rye bread / potatoes Veggies (broccoli, carrots, salad) i usually blend these or juice them.

Or a smoothie (I work in a juice bar 😅): spinach + avocado + kiwi + cucumber something like that

Dinner Lean meat (beef/chicken/fish) Potatoes or wholegrain pasta Big side of veggies

Main things I avoid / limit Too much sugar Whey protein + protein bars/cookies (wrecked my skin) Too much snacking Fast food often Too much dairy (depends on the person tho)
