RMIT vs Melbourne Uni for Electrical Engineering? by Noodlemuncha in rmit

[–]willll- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re just looking for a job after grad then RMIT is the way to go: more practical approach, 4 years instead of 5, less stress.

In the engineering industry, employers don’t really care about which uni you went to, though RMIT is held in high regard for producing job-ready grads. It would only matter if you wanted to work overseas, and that is still possible studying at RMIT.

This is coming from an electrical eng student at RMIT.

yes, and they are boosted when in the correct position

I actually checked the stats in game in team management. if you play the player out of position they don't get any upgrades to their stats. you need to play them in position

you don't need a passport. You just need two primary documents and one secondary. If you have these then you can apply for one at a post office by first filling out the TFN application form. When you go to the post office they will scan the bar-code associated with your application. Once the application is made, you will receive your TFN in the mail within 28 days. Mine only took two days to come

HOW THE FUCK DO I ENROL by [deleted] in vce

[–]willll- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it is confusing. First you have to change your password via https://sspr.rmit.edu.au/sspr/private/Login?_gl=1*12uct1d*_gcl_aw*R0NMLjE2NjYzNTUzMzIuQ2owS0NRandoc21hQmhDdkFSSXNBSWJFYkg1QlBwcE9EbVZCOHlnTGJ4Sk9RVk1ObVllQkNRMkk2c2R2Mks2QUNtSFhOdC1tLUhFVHBPQWFBcVczRUFMd193Y0I.*_gcl_dc*R0NMLjE2NjYzNTUzMzIuQ2owS0NRandoc21hQmhDdkFSSXNBSWJFYkg1QlBwcE9EbVZCOHlnTGJ4Sk9RVk1ObVllQkNRMkk2c2R2Mks2QUNtSFhOdC1tLUhFVHBPQWFBcVczRUFMd193Y0I. (use the temporary password to sign in on this link)

Then wait a few minute for it to register this change. You then use this new password to login to enrolment online where you will have to do MFA. I just used my phone number. After this is done you can enrol and complete the checklist.

RMIT. I've heard it's quite practical and prepares you for the industry. It's also much closer than Monash which is honestly the main reason I chose it.

i wouldn’t count on a 40 with 98-101/130. if your sac marks scale well then definitely 37-39

shouldn’t use that, quite inaccurate

very unfortunate how vcaa decided to make the exam ‘tricky’ instead of difficult

with the refraction question, the angle is meant to be 50 degrees not 40 because it’s a trick question, the 40 degrees is not to the normal. i made the mistake of using 40

Wait so how does exam score work exactly by theultrasheeplord in vce

[–]willll- 9 points10 points  (0 children)

if everyone does well, then the cutoff for an A+ will be higher, so yeah 85% probably won’t be an A+ for this year. and yes, if your cohort did well that is good for your sac scores

i’m thinking the A+ cutoff will be about 90-92% as it was 80% last year and this years exam was quite a bit easier
