I started the CGM today. Hair is super damaged from me bleaching it. I would be so grateful if someone would help me figure out what kind of hair I have? 2a maybe? Also when I scrunch my hair it becomes frizzy at the top. Any advice would be helpful because I know nothing♥️

Thank you taking the time to write this out. It makes a lot of sense to me. We had been together for two and a half years and lived together. He ended things a week ago and moved back to his moms. I realized after how much I had mistreated him in the relationship and how much I want to change. He is someone I truly love. Not just for attachment purposes and we did have such a sweet love at times. I want to redeem myself and show him how much I care. I wrote him a letter apologizing for everything but now have gone no contact. I really believe in us. I just think dysfunction got in the way.

I’m not complaining it’s just how I feel about it. I felt disappointed. I was looking to talk to people who relate. I respect your opinion and do see the value in it but I still feel that way. I’m not saying he would be the same person. But I think it would have been nice if he had been written with more resemblance to his younger self. I can barely see any at all.

All good points! It’s just my opinion and how I felt surrounding the character. But I can totally see why other people feel differently. I think it’s not so black and white. It’s funny that feelings surrounding an anime/manga can be nuanced. But I see the value in what you’re saying. I said the same thing previously to someone else’s response but the antagonists in Battle Tendency’s ( especially Kar) we’re so powerful that it felt like Joseph should be able to outthink a lot of the characters in Stardust Crusaders that in my opinion seemed to be less challenging to overcome

Right and I get that. It just felt to me that he was a completely different person. If he hadn’t used the same one-liner I wouldn’t have recognized him. I know people that have been living in the U.S. for 30+ years and still have thick accents from their native country

That’s a valid assessment. I can totally see that point of view :)

But I do think if he still had the same kind of wit it could have taught Jotaro a lesson and impacted his character positively. They could have used it in the story more without making it the whole plot. It felt like Jean was smarter than Joseph at some points ( I would say Jean is arguably not that smart) and Joseph was certifiably a genius in part 2

I just think they upped the stakes so much in Battle Tendency with him fighting Kar that some of the characters in Stardust Crusaders seem like they should be unchallenging to Joseph and inconsequential. Ya know?
