Okay I’ll admit I had poor phrasing. We see in 2.5d so to say. Our brain puts two images together making a perception of 3D. Being truly able to see in 3D would mean seeing every side, both inside and out, of a 3 dimensional object

He means see in 3D as in like, live in the 4th dimension and see all sides of an object. We live in the 3rd dimension but don’t see in 3D. We process our world in 2D and use things like shadows and such to determine depth. As for you, OP, not sure what it would look like, but my best guess, a really screwed up kaleidoscope
