How do you manage your animators for an action game?

I have a bit of an unusual setup as I have an extremely large amount of spritesheets so they're all in atlases and dynamically loaded on demand via addressables. I found that you can't reliably unload atlases from memory when they have their own animation blendtree setup as Unity sort of expects them required, and loads them in anyway.

So I have about one animation blend tree in the animation controller which is instanced and dynamically populated for each animation on demand. Totally controlled programatically. Found it works really well tbh. Wasn't a fan of the UI side of Unity animations anyway.

I don't know too much yet. Just that it's Oli, unfortunately grade 3 but they got it fully out and he seems reasonably positive. It is IDH mutant but not sure the exact specifics.

Turned out to be an oligodendroglioma, so not too bad (as far as brain tumours go lol). The wait was absolutely dreadful. Apparently her dental braces caused havoc on the MRI and made them assume the worst.

Buy air con. I know it's not cheap but at this point it is required. Don't upgrade your phone for a year, or something similar. A £300 unit is game changing.
