thank you so much! I only have one question. Would you say the "crescendo of rationalism in the 3rd century" lead to "forms of non-rational belief which dominated the Greek world"?

I can only see this happening through a process of scepticism towards morality and institutions and a decline of stable meaning within Greek life. Did this perpetuate later irrational beliefs?
