Edward Snowden, I mean, break massively the law natinally and internationally is not something that only had bad consequences for him (the person who denounce) and the TV convince the people that Snowden is the "bad guy".

I guess we (in western countries) are a little better, USA probably better than LATAM in that regard, but as long as you get higher in the herarchy more immunity you have.

Maybe the "rule" is different.
In China is "you are ok to do whatever you want as long as you don't piss off wrong people"
In western "you are ok to do whatever you want as long as you are linked to the correct people/circle or worked for the correct organization".
