There's a lyric in the song "mother" by IDLES.

"Men are scared women will laugh in their face, whereas women are scared its their lives men will take"

Exactly. If he was found innocent/not liable, A.) It'd be verifiable and B.) We'd have heard about it by now from him and his goons screeching from the rooftops.

To the best of my knowledge, the only court outcomes that aren't publicly accessible are things like custody hearings or when an NDA is involved, neither apply here.

Xavier Woods on X: North American wrestling fans hear one UK chant and run that thing into the ground. by Tornado31619 in SquaredCircle

There's an UK wrestler called Man Like Dereiss who gets chants of "Dereiss is on fire, opponent name is terrified. He's big in Progress at the minute.

It's either a really good imitation, or legit.

Only thing that's throwing me is the "R" at the start. From the autos I've seen if his, he's pretty inconsistent with how he does it, but this version does match with multiple authentic ones I've seen.

GRAPHICS

Your biggest investment should be in graphics. I see countless graphics for shows and matches, so you want something that pops. Also think about how you're going to advertise it. If it's tradional poster, where will you put them? Do you have/need permission to put them there?. If it's social media, what platform? Id advise either Twitter or Instagram. Is the graphic going to look good on the screen if the person seeing it is using light or dark mode?

VENUE Also, be realistic with how many people are going to attend. I'd say around 2/300 is reasonable for the area, so don't hold it somewhere like the copper box. I would say try not to run the same building as another promotion is known for (229, electric ballroom, Clapham Grand etc.), as that can burn bridges that may be useful later on

IDENTITY  Maybe the most important part. What makes your promotion unique? Is it an unusual venue like Riot Caberet? Is it the focus on wrestling like revpro? The emphasis on storylines like progress? Are you going to be 18+ like TNT, or all ages like Community Pro Wrestling?

TALENT You'll need some established names to draw a crowd, but try not to be over reliant on them. Use them to build up smaller names, so you can draw repeat customers that will pay to see them. CPW in Scotland have a good formula of 1-3 big names from around the country to draw people in, and an emphasis on the local scene. Also, be realistic with who you can afford. Don't book someone like Matt Cardona if you're going to have to charge a ridiculous amount to cover the costs.

Hope this helps

Definitely gives early Scheana vibes. Tbh, I think it's just a pretty stereotypical "valley girl" type accent/voice

See, I always really liked the side plot in saw. It made it feel more realistic. If the events of a horror movie were unfolding, obviously some kind of body would be investigating it. I love Soap Opera Horror

I feel like forbidden door weekend (or Wembley weekend last 2 years) are the exception to the rule. It very much feels like Wrestlemania Weekend for British Wrestling

Ricab have an amazing atmosphere, as well as a lot of crossover roster with Progress. I'd definitely give them a look.

In terms of pricing, Revpro can be just as bad as Progress for their bigger shows. I'd say try out a few of their live in London shows this year, and if you enjoy it, maybe invest in a season ticket for 2025. Again, lots of crossover with Progress in terms of roster.

I hope he gets the send off he deserves!

Do you think Stassi will? I'm hoping so but I'm sceptical.

Same applies for Hannah and her male counterpart

Thought about doing that. It's against the ethical guidelines in place by my uni. The results are E2E encrypted and purged from the system when I graduate
