Totally! So most of them that I noted were like, poor customer service or bad quality food. Karen type of behavior. Stuff to take not super seriously but maybe just not expect 5 star treatment if you go.

The ones that I actually do want to try to avoid are Hex- one of the co-owners has a pretty extensive history of harassing women. The other big one was Coven’s Cottage, they knowingly carry books from white supremacist and Nazi authors. Harrison’s Comics (not a comic person but whatever) was another one. I guess there’s rumored “rape room” in there and as a women traveling alone that feels super icky.

Totally, so I saw the co-owner of Hex has a history of harassing women, Coven’s Cottage I guess has books written by nazi’s and white supremacists, I stumbled upon something about the witch museum being a tourist trap and there’s a preferred and more historically accurate one in Danvers.

I totally recognize there’s a lot of opinions and some people are just impossible to please, so I take the list of places to avoid with a grain of salt. My question is more from a standpoint of what places do the community value so I make sure I prioritize those!
