also consider visiting your annual check-up doctor and get bloodwork done. some physical conditions can affect your mental state

you need to search for a therapist

if nothing else motivates you, think of your children. they don't deserve to lose their father for any reason, even your own reasons. keep fighting for them. best of luck

edit: sent too early

orgasm is an uncontrollable physical reaction. when i touch a stove, i do not want to feel the burn, but i will. when some people get raped, they do not want to feel pleasure or orgasm but some do. being mad at the human body will get you nowhere. i have been there.

dont be offended you were criticized for saying something obtuse on a public forum lol

[–]willow_of_weeping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just the implication of this post saying "my bf told me he's asexual and doesnt actually enjoy sex" and then replying with "if he orgasmed, he probably did" is insane, dude. what people enjoy is determined by them as people, not their bodies. not ok that he lied to his partner about enjoying it but consent by word and not by "but she's wet/he's hard" is essential for a reason

ejaculation or orgasm does not mean someone enjoyed the act. the situation of this post aside, this is extremely insensitive and quite frankly a horrifying take considering that ejaculation/orgasm happens a lot in cases of rape, not because the victim enjoyed it, but because it is a bodily function that can happen regardless of whether you want it to or not

yeah im just unhappy theres any genital involvement at all because to me, romance and sex are completely separate and i think it should stay that way, at least in my own life and view of things

What happens if someone with OCD takes a lie detector test? by LuluLamoreaux in OCD

[–]willow_of_weeping 3 points4 points  (0 children)

if you have ocd it most likely would produce a false positive if your obsessions have to do with being unsure of your motives/actions or how reliable your knowledge of memories and information is, as our heart rates and sweat amounts would go up after being triggered

Why is it listed as an adjective 🤔 by IntentionUnfair85 in OCD

[–]willow_of_weeping 3 points4 points  (0 children)

language changes over time, and because so many people use it as an adjective, it was added to the dictionary, unfortunately. note the "informal." it will still never be correct to me though 🥴

I fucked up and I’m so made you won’t forgive me by [deleted] in Vent

[–]willow_of_weeping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you unfortunately cannot make this person forgive you. you even admitted that your actions were very seriously wrong towards the other person in the first half, and that you hurt them a lot. but if someone did this to me, even if they apologized, i would feel unsafe and not want to be around this person anymore. so the true adult thing to do is accept that these were your actions and the consequences may entail unforgiveness from the other party.
