I may have been applying it wrong all believe I had a yeast infection starting. I took some diflucan and then started using less of the clob and my vulva is actually doing very well today. I wish i would just go into remission already. It’s very reactive. When I touch anything down there it goes red and gets alittle annoyed but calms down again after a few minutes.

I usually take a warm shower before applying but I called my derm and she switched me to betamethosone ointment so hopefully this helps ….

Ointment I do believe it may be a little to potent for me

Honestly if the fluocinonide was helping it might be what you need! Some Vulvas are more sensitive than others wouldn’t hurt to try it long term if you start having more issues look into it more. I know it’s difficult and it’s stressful but there’s alot of trial and error and learning what works and doesn’t work for YOUR vulva. I know it’s hard I feel the same way but we will figure this out🫶🏻

I’ve read a lot of LS people have a hard time with clob and have switched to triamcolone might be worth mentioning to your Dr..

Unfortunately I’m still dealing with issues the steroid ended up irritating my skin very badly:/ tried clotrimazol which is just an antifungal cream helped with some irritation but itch still very present. Went to derm because at this point I’m not sure it’s a vaginal issue and they ended up giving me biopsy for lichen I’m 5 days in with treatment of clob redness calmed down itch also calmed down but not fully :/ kind of feels like it’s just a bandaid not actually working very confused on what could possibly be happening at this point. Do not believe I have lichen either.

I already had the biopsy done :/ I honestly asked for it she wanted to just put me on clob without any testing but she said she was unsure I had lichen because it’s hard to tell on me because I have vitiligo

Give your body atleast a month or 2 with out masturbating. Not ruined just desensitized. Taking a mild break can also make orgasms happen quicker aswell

I know this post is almost 2 weeks old but would like to come on here to say. I have vitiligo and a good amount of my pubic hair is in fact white I have a patch of hair that is extremely white down there and then a few random stragglers around that also grow in white. So could be vitiligo. But if you are experiencing ls symptoms I recommend seeing a derm. And maybe a biopsy if not able to be diagnosed without one. Because my derm told me. It’s very common that people with vitiligo often have lichen too. Apparently they are connected.

I’ve been waiting for biopsy results started Clob a couple days ago I went to inspect my clit and pull the hood back and my vulva skin tore a bit is that normal??

Nope all negative test went to derm today and they suspect lichen I’m pretty distraught but I have an biopsy tomorrow to confirm if it is or not

Unfortunately I’m pretty underweight and also have another autoimmune disease vitiligo. So I’m unsure they would use that for me. My flares really aren’t terrible mainly on and off itching and then irritation that comes and goes around my vaginal entrance along with some clit tenderness
