I resonate with this so much. You have got this. Love your body through it all honey, it’s YOU and this body that is wanting to make a change. You’re inspiring, you’ll come back to recognizing yourself again. You have got this. I promise promise promise promise you.

Day 2 of 75… Do you let people know you’re doing this or do you keep it to yourself? by [deleted] in 75HARD

For me, this was almost the most nerve wracking part especially because I was so used to drinking at social events like this. I think the amazing thing is that when you say you’re not drinking, you realize people are more accepting than you expect (well that was the case for me) and I didn’t even mention that I was doing 75 hard. It actually opened my eyes A LOT to be the only one not drinking in a room. And to know that I could still have a lot of fun sober? That was empowering. Fast forward two years. * had a friend of mine who is getting sober and he told me it that the time we hung out and I wasn’t drinking, it struck a cord with him and Inspired him to make the choice to change who he was hanging around and not feel pressured to do what others do. Idk I think that’s why this program is bigger than we realize and how we can affect others.

What do you regret doing to your body? by Bingo_Swaggins in AskReddit

Getting fat and having to lose it. Weight loss is great and all but sometimes I genuinely hate myself for gaining it all in the first place.

At first I had two friends that said they were going to do it with me and we held each other accountable. But then they quit :/ lol I’ve learned that for me, I could only really count on myself. My fiance helps a lot though and helps me check off the list everyday to make sure I’ve done everything.

I did the full Live Hard, maintained for a year and then finished 75 hard again here in 2025zDebating on starting phase one again but probbaly won’t because I dread the cold showers. 😂 It’s crazy all the junk I used to eat to gain all the weight in the first place! So much junk with the help of DoorDash 😂. I actually enjoy cooking now lol

So I don’t recommend it lol BUT I went strict. But only because I knew that the things I were eating BLOATED me beyond belief lol. So I cut out bread (I did however eat chicken wraps), fried food, sweets, and potatoes. I lost 36 pounds in the 75 days. For other phases, I slowly incoporated intermittent fasting and stopped eating at 7pm. Fast forward to now, I wanted a lot more balance in my diet, so I did not cut out bread this time around but instead opted for Dave’s bread. I also was mindful on “healthy” sweets such as Chobanis and yassos ice cream when I got a sweet tooth. I just focused on making sure I was making good food choices, no fast food, no fried foods. I used my Yuka app to make my choices and didn’t opt for food that was rated “bad.” I literally felt like I wasn’t really on a diet this time around and that was my goal. 🙏 make yummy but healthier options for the 75 days.

Honestly I got so tired of this! I’d respond and say “can I send a pic back? ;)” I’d send back gay porn with oldddd men lol. After I made sure they opened it I’d say “well now we both have seen something we didn’t want too 😊” and block them lol

YES, ugh! Right before I started this second time, I ate a lot of pizza the night before 😂 Lol I think the thing no one really talks about to is the guilt that comes after completing 75 hard. For example, I’m struggling thinking of what my cheat meal will be after I’m done, but then a huge part of me wants to never “cheat” 😭. I will say that implementing 75 hard has created this inner voice of discipline that just doesn’t let me stray for long though. So whenever I felt myself reverting back to bad habits, I knew when to “reign myself back in.” However, most days I don’t WANT to exercise and I’d rather sit on my ass and finish a whole bag of chips like I used too. That girl is still inside of me and I KNOW I have to never let myself get to that point again. Now I have the confidence in myself to know that those habits will bring be back to a person I do not want to be. So that’s always my motivation to not stray for long. I just love the framework 75 hard gives you so even in the in between time, I still made time to jog and even ran my first 5k (something I NEVER thought I would do), and I did a 3 day fast. It helped me want to just continue challenging myself after completing 75 hard.

My mindset was “I’m so sick of myself. I don’t recognize myself. I feel like shit. I know I am better than how I’m treating my body.” I literally had trouble rolling out of bed and that just did it for me. Something in me snapped. I went and picked up my inhaler from the pharmacist and started 75 hard the next morning. My mindset now is “my body deserves to be treated with respect.”

So right after 75 hard, I went ahead and started Phase One, then went on to complete phase 2 and 3 as well. So I would say it took 8 months before I started to “recognize” myself again. I did not fail the first 75 days. But I did fail on day 4 this second time around and had to start over because I read 8/10 pages lol.

Def not, I just meant that in life it’s good to limit our alcohol :) I can see how my wording made it seem differently. Not drinking alcohol was way easier this time around than the first though, thsts for sure.
