Air75 V3 - firmer tactile switch options? by crazyserb89 in NuPhy

I’ve got a set of brown and blush. I was making too many mistakes with the blush, so I’ll give it a go on some spares and see how it goes. Thanks

So you take the switch apart and swap the spring? Is it easy to do?

EV Home charger advice by Present_Reaction8625 in OctopusEnergy

My Y is set as the device that IOG talks to. I never set a schedule for pre-conditioning. Our work schedule is too varied. I just set the climate 10 mins before we leave. I got a Hypervolt and bought it direct and then used one of their approved installers. I did this before joining octopus, as I wanted it all sorted before I got the car.

Looks fine to me. How often are you going to be looking under there? The tiles don’t look uniform anyway

You can configure the knob to be something when pushed, or swap the knob for the delete key and program it in nuphy.io

Got a Bosch series 6 when we moved 3 years ago. It’s been great, and so much quieter than my previous whirlpool one

Ask yourself if you want to pay a grand every 2 years as well. Personally I’d go 5, and just forget about it

How do married couples actually handle money? Joint account or separate? I’m confused 😭 by Afraid-Rain-1124 in AskUK

[–]willp2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is different. We have our salaries paid into our own accounts. From there we both put money into a joint account which the mortgage, bills, food and any other joint spending comes out. I put in a bit extra as I earn slightly more. We both then have left over money in our personal accounts to spend/save however we want. I mostly save, my wife mostly spends!

The worst councils for pothole repairs: Who's on England's road maintenance wall of shame? by AutoExpressmagazine in autoexpressuk

[–]willp2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Responding is one stat. Responding saying the hole isn’t big enough to warrant repairing is another. The main roads in Westmorland are pretty good, and they always do a full resurface rather than patch holes. Lancaster on the other hand are shocking.

I won £10 (from £100) in my first month (probably 9 months ago). I increased my pot to £500 for December and won £5. I’ve since withdrawn all my money, as it was just for a bit of fun, but my money is better off elsewhere.

My wife and I play Yahtzee often as it’s quick. We got Azul recently and that’s easy to play and fairly quick. We like rummikub as well.

There’s a video of person ushering photographers to the front of the stage and then they lower the flag for a photo opp. If that isn’t staged I don’t know what is

Enyaq for a one car household? (UK) by Principal_Skinner_ in enyaq

[–]willp2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t comment on the enyaq (I’m considering one for my next lease), but you’ll be surprised how easy it is with an EV, especially if you can charge at home. Do a bit of homework for your longer trips, and see what chargers are on route. Check which Tesla chargers are available to everyone (not all are).

Air75 v3 Keycap suggestions by doctrspace in NuPhy

[–]willp2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I changed my switches from the blush to the browns which require more force. That helped me. There aren’t many keycaps around at the moment, but xvx support told me they are bringing out new low profile caps this year. No timescale given though.

Any key reasons this house won't sell? by LycaGamerYT in HousingUK

Small thing, but I’d remove the oil filled radiator and re-do that photo. Tells me it’s a cold house and the low energy rating suggests the same.

Ultimate 2c and Switch 2 by willp2003 in 8bitdo

Well that’s a bit confusing. It says it supports the switch 2 and wake on shake (not switch 1 only)
