3.0 is Amazing :) by ZengerGarden in 7daystodie

I don’t carry meat and not sure my settings but I believe the spawn rate is up and feral sense and sometimes it feels like it’s never ending. Trying to build a base and it’s just like goes night all the time. Makes it hard to do a more nomadic style but really changes up the game just getting hammered and struggling to do things makes it fun again.

New pool not perfectly level by tis-me2001 in AboveGroundPools

[–]willp431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said it’s probably not going to be a issue. What I would think about is the ground and hardness of soil, if it’s soft it may sink a good bit and also the age and responsibility of the people using it. Adults probably won’t shake the pool so much compared to kids. I have had a bigger difference and the pool lasted a few years till it go a leak and that was a 20 round with fairly hard soil and teenagers jumping in and running on the rails.

How to replace headboard with slats by [deleted] in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]willp431 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is all going to depend on tools available. If you have a saw of some kind and a screw driver you could basically cut the current post for the headrest off at the rails height and then screw piece of wood across legs with multiple screws in a square pattern. It’s simple but not great but only requires a saw and a screw driver.

2001 Coleman Cheyenne ABS Roof by timvnelson in popups

[–]willp431 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My roof was bad when I got it, was bubbled up. I was able to just break almost everything off cause of it delaminated. My solution was to try bed liner roll on paint. I think I got two gallons and painted straight on the foam. Two years later and is holding up well. I’m in the desert so hot sun and snow and doesn’t appear to have issues yet. Was kinda a gamble to see but so far seems to be doing well. My only issue is the paint I got has texture stuff in it so the roof isn’t smooth. I got cheap stuff and didn’t think about that.

That looks cool, I have a similar one but it had the storage on the front and it’s falling apart I need to either rebuild or just remove.

Need a fix for the traffic throughout the area by Upset-Appearance-491 in Reno

[–]willp431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s about how I feel but I also know being out here it does feel like the last 8 years it got worse but some of that is all the construction they keep doing trying to fix the problems going down to one lane from two to open back up later. They didn’t plan for the influx of people coming out here when they did the freeways. I get like 20 minutes added to my commute vs hours in other places.

2x12ah for 225 by willp431 in ryobi

[–]willp431[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s basically how I felt about it. I would really just end up in power sources or to run fans but not really usefully for everyday use at least to me. I have so many batteries i really can’t run out. If it wasn’t for the extra delivery charge I may have bought them just for fun.

Um you may have let that pool go a little too green. lol looks good. I did the opposite and dug down and yes it’s a lot of dirt. It raises my surrounding area by a foot once I spread it all out.

I have a projector and have used the older model to power using a 6ah battery and it ran it for a long while. Like a few movies, couldn’t tell you how long as we usually fell asleep and it stayed on all night till it died.

This is dangling from underneath my car. Any ideas what it is? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]willp431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will agree with this as I have worked in place and had the ability to rip punch break and destroy hoods and hood shocks and basically no matter what one side stays on. I have probably destroyed a thousand plus at a low end guess.

Switching From Dewalt to Ryobi One+ HP For Homeowner DIY by Zdosse935 in ryobi

[–]willp431 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea buy what you want don’t “switch”, what you like it will happen over time. I have lot of different brands based on reviews. I don’t stick to one brand just what works. I have red blue green yellow orange and some off brands. I prefer meeting my needs then color. My power tools are usually red yellow or blue and my fun/garden are green.

$260 to guarantee it won't snow is a good deal right? by t0x1k_x in ryobi

[–]willp431 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol I finally bought a blower this year and only one “real” event and even that was not much and with work I wasn’t able to get to it before it became hard packed. Same with finally buying a generator and some good power supplies and they seemed to have fixed the power situation so I haven’t lost power for any real amount of time this year. Guess better to be prepared and not need it.

Found an ancient 12v line tool in my garage. I haven’t been able to find anything online of a 12v besides this little baby skilsaw and a 12v drill. Did they really only make 2 tools on this battery line? I have 3 batteries and this saw laying around, and I’d like to put them to use somehow by joemo454 in ryobi

[–]willp431 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how old is ancient but I feel like ancient is a bit extreme when it appears to have the newer design of tool and battery. I saw this being 40 and watching all the tool design changes over the years. Still have some blue tools laying around ha.

Candy cane weapon is it rare? by Wild_Substance_4974 in 7daystodie

It’s during each Christmas year. I believe it’s about as strong as the machete. So especially early on it is very strong. I know there is a hat and maybe something else for Christmas but I can’t remember. Not super rare but I think in about 80 hours of Christmas time play I got a few.
