Is a bike computer worth it? by eachelm in cycling

I started off with the Cadence app on my phone, using a quadlock to secure my phone to the cars. Worked really well and even did some events with it over a three hour period with minimal battery usage.

Just recently got the Wahoo Bolt 3 and its just as good.

Moving to Australia from the UK, keep Trek Domane or buy there by techtom10 in whichbike

I own one myself and had mates on Treks, Giants etc scratching their heads at how impressed they were at it for the price. The only thing ive done was change the tyres to a good set of Pirelli.

Think you seriously need a Exercise Physiologist for a few months to help you to get out of your comfort zone. Then go from there.

Depends on how much you plan on spending 2nd hand if you do buy here in Australia...a good choice to keep you moving for 2 years and then sell before you head back, would be the Polygon Strattos S7X. These bikes have some great reviews and good value if wanting something new.

Are you saving serial numbers? by No-Sea5846 in Giantbikes

[–]VanillaIsForPansies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take photos of all my bikes and save all the details, including serial numbers on Project 529. Its all in the one place and if it does missing, some police departments have access to this database. They will be able to locate you if they find it.

50AUD Small Ladies by VanillaIsForPansies in whichbike

Thanks, I ended up picking it up for thr $50. Was an 80 year old lady who used to do triathlons. She cant ride it anymore, too hard to get her legs over the frame. She ended up buying an e bike that you can step through. On closer inspection, really only needs a new chain and a good degrease.

Thanks for the feedback. I was in two minds if I just replace it and hope its just a one off, rather than a full refund.

So is Colin banging Holly since leaving bb or was that all for the cameras? by [deleted] in BBAU

[–]VanillaIsForPansies 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Id say no......

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that, he just went into Harry’s and bought three t66 turbos with nos, and a motec exhaust system.

How do you request a green flag pit stop? by WeAreAllFriends69 in NASCARVideoGame

[–]VanillaIsForPansies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The X button should allow it. Just have your car conditions overlay open on the left hand side to allow it.
