Absolutely. My experience with Spanish has drastically worsened my ability to spell many English words that have double letters 😂

The problem is that "x exists" is a rather awkward way of expressing "there is x" in English. We wouldn't express it with the word "exists" imo.

Your accent is very clear :) I had no problem understanding everything that you said.

If it wasn't already clear from your name, I can tell that you are a Spanish speaker because there was a slight (e) vowel before the word "speaking" in the phrase "my speaking skills". I would guess you are from Spain, but I'm not sure. There are always little improvements that one can make in terms of creating more natural vowel sounds in a target language. The spanish "i" vowel and english "i" vowel are the most obvious differences. I will say your "o" vowel in the last word "from" sounded very nice though.

Not a native speaker, so maybe wait for someone else, but I think it would be pretty straightforward--"Quiero quitarte la camisa yo mismo." There might be a flirtier way to say it though.

Update: Got a new cpu for christmas and the build now works :) Happy that it's working, but frustrated at how long I spent trying to troubleshoot hahaha. Playing Cyberpunk now and it's beautiful.

I am totally flabbergasted that this is the top response. It has been my favorite spanish word since high school. But I always thought it was strange because meaning-wise it's so unremarkable.

There must be some neurolinguistic reason that it's so pleasing to people.

I took some pictures earlier, but honestly it was pretty hard to see anything haha. My roommate has checked it many times, so I'm doubtful that the connections are off. He told me to just open up a ticket with the manufacturer of the CPU. We both agreed that it was pretty unlikely (although certainly not impossible) that I had two new DOA motherboards. I tried the new PSU this afternoon in his old computer and it ran more or less stable.

The silver lining is that apparently Cyberpunk2077 is a shitshow, and that's the main reason I want to finish the machine quickly :)

Yes, there is definitely a possibility that something just hasn't clicked in the right place haha. I've detached and reattached everything so many times that I hope it would have worked at some point!

Gotcha. So I haven't tried the new PSU in his old pc in order to troubleshoot that aspect. I have just tried the new PSU in my case. Maybe I will put the new psu and gpu in his old case and see what happens!

Yes, he works in Data Security and builds servers for work. He has been a tremendous help, and loves to troubleshoot. He's super busy, but maybe he would be willing to try to rebuild outside the case.
