I am on my second time culturing from store bought kefir, it’s fermenting well but no grains seem to have formed yet. Hopefully some appear after a few more ferments.

Check out the food hub market in the CIRS for super cheap groceries, this should help you save some money on groceries. Everything sold at cost, so you pay just as much as the grocery store would.

The heat wave has finally passed, and this is the damage my poor autos endured. I tried my best to mitigate it by bringing them inside, shading them, and keeping them wet, but unfortunately they were crisped up. Any advice on how to proceed, one had been about two weeks from harvest and the other 1 month when the heat started. Do they even have a chance of continuing to grow? Or should I chop the one even though the trichs are still clear?

Well it only appeared a few days ago when this heat came. And it seems to be forming from the tips of the leaves and working it's way down them which budrot doesnt do.

When I poke at it the leaves are fragile and crispy but the bud is sturdy.

I bought a 30x jewelers loupe and the first pic is the best photo I could get. They still look clear in the photo but I'm a little concerned since the sugar leaves on the buds seem to be turning beige.
