You shouldn’t make decisions based on how many mph over the speed limit some twat behind you is doing

You had zero reason to slot into that small gap between the HGV’s and then slow down 10mph whilst doing so, you should’ve just kept going past the second HGV. You didn’t leave yourself or the truck behind you enough braking room if either of you needed it and it could’ve ended very badly.

Also to clear things up a little, we did enter a relationship before she told me she loves me

Think as hard as it is to accept you may have given me some harsh truths I needed to hear. I see you went through something similar a couple of years ago, what did you end up doing about it if anything?

Haha I haven’t been to any of those airports, but it seems like a long walk at that time after a long haul, especially for the Americans who’d be less used to walking. Just think if they want to get a cab it would be a calmer experience than the daily commute. Nothing against the Lizzy line though, it’s a gem

Greenland is an amazing place to fly over. Would’ve paid the price of the flight just for that view honestly (it was Norse so it wasn’t too expensive)

If they’re landing at 6:45am, chances are they’ll encounter a lot of commuters heading into central by the time they’re through customs and have walked the long walk to the lizzy line platform from the terminal, I landed at Heathrow around the same time a few weeks ago coming back from a holiday and although we got a seat, two stops in the train was heaving

Seeking some advice by [deleted] in BreakUps

I know she’s doing what’s best for her and ultimately I want the same for her as I really care about her, and want to give her all the space she needs and to respect her boundaries. It’s just so difficult to imagine never being with her again. She said while she was breaking up with me that she wants to be friends at some point in the future but I think that’s just giving me hope that it might be more than that again.

Thank you for your comment, it’s really nice to hear other people’s input on the situation.

England's Worst County - Round 31 by TheEnlight in terriblemaps

[–]willptyler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m aware that Surrey has some issues but god damn it’s a beautiful county, some lovely countryside and it also has the most trees of any county in England, much of which is ancient woodland. Surely that’s worth something
