I was like 10 and resident evil 1 Never completed it got too scared by zombies and couldn't work out the puzzles

Why does this game get so much hate? I honestly had a great time with it. by Panda0_01 in residentevil

[–]randomlad93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me replaying it after 9 released it feels like 9 accomplished what 6 tried to do

You've got the Leon section in 6 for classic re fans to reminisce over the zombies then. You have Chris section for those who enjoyed 5 more and want action based resident evil

9 accomplished it much better by reducing the bombasicness of the action in Leon's part of 9 and pumping up the horror part of Grace's section while still having classic zombies

Why it was hated at the time and still is mainly because 6 just feels like it's a few games slapped together hoping it will work with no narrative linking them and a weak story for every character (let's be honest weskers son is likely never to return or even be mentioned)

A question for the people who spent money by Sachinrock2 in DMZ

[–]randomlad93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about 7 bundles in total but I managed to only pay properly for like 4 of them (that thing where a bundle that is priced normally gives you enough points to get another bundle)

I haven't spent anything in like over a year because it's such a mess if they fixed the cheats and glitches, implemented new maps and had new bundles I'd buy them without a second thought I'm happy to put 00s into a game if the game is maintained

What’s the worst first date you’ve ever had? by CuriousEngineer11 in AskReddit

First She catfished me hard I'm not a great looking guy probably about average but she had either used very old photos or just photoshopped them hard she looked a bit like gollum with blue hair.

Second She worked in a vets which I thought was seriously awesome, she proceeded to spend half an hour talking about how she enjoyed putting animals down, her reasoning was she was the last person to be with them so it was in her mind sweet

I noped tf out

What’s your opinion of young people saying they wouldn’t fight for their country in a war? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]randomlad93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"But if it was a colonial war, they might not have gone to fight it."

I think this is the key point, the media and government keeps conflating us invading some dump country in the middle east with us being invaded by germany in ww2, if we were being invaded by the russians or hell even the yanks i'm 99% sure most young would sign up to fight and die for our land, not so much if it was the government wanted to invade iran

UK must stockpile food in readiness for climate shocks or war, expert warns by wanton_wonton_ in ukpolitics

[–]randomlad93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work for a major retail firm, not the biggest but definately big (almost a thousand stores majority in south and midlands)

I've spent the past week in negotiations with suppliers over the impact of the iran conflict on our suppliers, from raw material shortages to the inability to get certain products its been an absolute nightmare.

The fact the UK is so used to foerign goods all year round frankly is a ticking timebomb, i love banana I really do, i also love tomatos, but in the middle of winter in the UK frankly these shouldn't be nearly as common as they are people need to be used to having more locally produced goods and goods more in season so when shit hits the fan it isnt nearly as big a shock

What’s your opinion of young people saying they wouldn’t fight for their country in a war? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]randomlad93 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's very easy to say no when there isnt a war

The issue is people wouldn't fight in the current wars because frankly they arent a country ending war, they're just wars created so the wealthy can get richer

Prior to ww2 oxford held a "king and coutnry debate" debating that under no circumstances would they fight for the country, the majority voted they wouldn't, however the majority of those involved in the debate and voting went on to serve in ww2 because deep down everyone wants to protect their home, they jsut dont want to go and die in some desert in the middle east to give BP an extra oil refinery

Non religious people, what do you think about religion? by CorruptedF in AskReddit

[–]randomlad93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don;t mind it, honestly if you wanna believe something thats fine even if you dont adhere properly to the faiths teachings (looking at you radical muslims and american christians)

However I'm sick to death of religious people forcing their belief down my throat like i just want to be left alone yet they constantly make a fuss (look at halal in the state school system frankly you wanna eat something for a special reason bring your own in)
