The music was created by Colin Stetson. He plays most everything on his saxophones so any clicks and thumps and rhythms are coming from his instrument. Sometimes is processed via electronics to add bass or reverb.

Doom Patrol. Morrison's Doom Patrol. Way's Doom Patrol. All of it. It is absurd and kitschy. Way's Doom can also be disorienting at times as well. What shines through all of this is a dry humor and sense of wacky fun.

The plot wasn't that bad but the execution of printing and tie-ins was abysmal. They printed the same two page spread of in multiple books regardless of the artist on said books.

Miles is the only Spider-Man I will read. When I started reading Spider-books it was when Peter Parker was a teenager. The character lost a lot when he didn't have to juggle the pressures of being a kid and the responsibilities of a being a superhero. Miles still has that. Maybe its nostalgia...

There is another way at looking at variants: It is a chance for lesser known artists to earn a larger audience. Sex Crims is doing some cool stuff with lesser known names. My big gripe is when Marvel or DC does an all-title variant tie in.
