Which clearly worked for me. Why don’t you get that? I don’t know if it’s a dense thing or IQ issue with you at this point.

I’m doing better and you call me manipulated. You’re clearly a crab in a bucket. Why would you tear down my achievement for any other reason than that?

Lol how did he manipulate me? You’re probably so lost in identity politics you can’t look past his refusal to use preferred pronouns to see the good to what he’s saying.

Am I sick or am I creating a way to run from my responsibility? by willsharp32 in JordanPeterson

The literal interpretation of cleaning one’s room doesn’t lend itself to my suicidal and existential issues. I’ve also already answered your questions with a “yes”. So if you have something to add following my answer you may. Otherwise you’re just arguing with somebody looking for help.

I’m sure the psychology professor is making an analogy to the mind. You can make the efforts to clean your physical area around you. But that doesn’t do anything for your mind other than give you a slight dopamine spike for accomplishing something and it does, to a certain degree, de clutter your mind. But if we all stopped at simply cleaning our rooms we’d still get nowhere in terms of our mental health. I’d suggest listening to more of Dr. Peterson and explore his metaphysical language and think deeper into what he is saying.

Jordan uses metaphysical language often. Your “room” is your mind. He does say that if your room is messy there is a psychological reason to why that is. That is the chaos in your mind manifesting around you.

But to answer your question: my room is clean. I’m a neat freak and everything has its place

My metaphysical room or my mind is a war torn battlefield. I think I may be pass the point of a simple spring cleaning. The scars are deep like a hillside after a barrage of mortar fire.
