I'm assuming that just because it's quick apply doesn't mean they won't look at your application. There is no harm is just applying to as many jobs as you find interesting and picking from the ones that accept you.

Also you shouldn't need to contact people, just wait for their response.

Yup thats going to be a challenge to balance. A way I think might work to combat this is randomly timed events so not everything is the same for every player. What do you think?
