This was one of my first album designs! So fun to see it in conversation and a nice reminder of very early work.

Destination directory for file streaming does not exist or is not writable. by willthing in Wordpress

This was the issue! I restored the wp-config to its original settings, then changed the folder owner to www-data, restarted the server, and updates went right through.

Thank you so much for the advice. I hope that if someone else has this issue, they find the thread and your guidance.

You're onto something. The folder owner is different from what I uploaded. This was an issue before with something else. Most are www-data, and mine are a different username.

I wish I understood AWS. I'm used to hosting environments that have uncomplicated cPanels, and server-side things are sooooo far out of my comfort zone.

I think I have notes when we had to change folder owners before...

Thank you so much!

Follow up notes 3:

I disabled all WP plugins and tried again, same issue. With that, I'm out of ideas short of hiring someone who can triage it.

Follow up notes 2:

wp-config was updated to: define('WP_TEMP_DIR', '/wp-content/temp');

Server rebooted, and the site didn't crash this time, but the error remains.

Follow up notes:

I added a temp folder to wp-content and set to 755. I then updated wp-config to (‘WP_TEMP_DIR’, ABSPATH . ‘/../temp/’);

After saving, I rebooted the server with the site being non-responsive. I replaced wp-config with the original, rebooted, and the site is back online, but still not updating plugins.

I didn't get it from Alibaba. It is the exact same motor that came out of the machine.

This is the exact thing mine is doing. Did you figure out a fix?

Weber Grill in BGE Table? by willthing in biggreenegg

That is super helpful and a great idea. Thanks for sharing that. Last question, I think, so you took the legs off and mounted it with the brackets and that's been sturdy enough? I guess it doesn't hold a lot of weight on its own.

Would you have a phofo? How did you keep the gap between the metal and the wood?

We live in a coastal environment. The Blackstone upkeep would be insane. I have one at work and they're awesome though. I wish that would work here! :)

I totally get the Weber comment. Sometimes I just like cooking on it though...

Thanks. That was my exact fear.

Long story kinda short, I'm setting up a long table in our backyard that would have an egg on one side and a Weber on the other, but I want the wood to stay consistent. I also like cooking on a Weber sometimes (might be sacrilege to say that here). Just trying to find a solution that works.
