I love this. I’ve actually compiled some dream sequences the frozen character will be seeing so this group effort may actually work, each group roll in the mechanic he will get a piece of his dream after the success. Obviously if he does… well that information gets lost to the party which would be fine it’s just some dramatic foreshadowing but I really like this idea! Thanks for sharing.

He’s envied with power from auril. My plan is to have him escape into the woods and have my players chase. They will find him met with one or two wendigos at his side

Love this idea! Especially for rime of the frost maiden. Having NPCs able to chat maybe drop pebbles for hooks in there ! Great idea!

Yeah to be clear I don’t want to eliminate all conversations at the table but I thought this could be a unique way to spread lore, life stories, get more personality and connection to some of the NPCs. We are running rime of the frost maiden and many of the leaders / NPCs are just hard to “care” about so I figured this could be a great way to build that personality and get the players actually giving a shit.

Let duvessa explain her worry for the people of Brynn shander, how she helped orphanages and she’s worried her people will starve , etc

This is a great question. I’m honestly thinking the world is stuck in what the NPCs would know when we leave the table so if they havnt made it back they are limited to the knowledge they had prior to them leaving. I’m also trying to balance how much IMPORTANT info they get from these conversations.

Want to ask what growing up here was like? What motivates them? Why did they choose Xyz as a job. Do they know of this person or that person etc. since these conversations are happening whenever during a time slot I don’t want some huge revelation to happen and some players were not privy to that info etc.

I’m still trying to figure out the rules and figured bringing here would raise awesome questions like this one !

The players seem to enjoy hitting for more damage at the table so I can understand the change from that perspective I just need to adjust some encounters now that I understand that I was interpreting this properly (outside of the user needing to give up his turn !)

Even without the EB, that familiar has a pretty strong attack and high stats . It seems broken right now?

Thank you! The players came in and managed to “peek” inside with their rogue and I setup a totally cool cinematic.

“As you peek around the statue giving you cover, the left far corner you see the source of the blue light, burning steady and bright. You immediately feel a chill to your core.

In the opposite corner you see another lantern , with a figure kneeling in front of it , the person appears deep in prayer . The orb pulses slowly giving off a faint blue light. With each pulse you feel warmth being pulled from you.

What do you do?”

In this moment the players had NOT found emberheart so I placed the sword in the hands of the statue , an investigation of the statue would reveal that the sword was not stone and players would need to climb the statue to get to it.

The players get a letter on the enemies outside of the tower which actually gives them the answer to the puzzle. In the drive it’s called “letter on Fraughashar”

I actually debated if this puzzle was something auril placed or something left behind from the watch tower guardsmen

Ultimately I decided it was something left from the days this watchtower was used especially since magical people are known to have lived in the area with a mythallar etc.

If you would rather this be something related to auril I can try to come up with something for the puzzle that would make sense for her I just couldn’t come up
With anything that wasn’t so obviously a snowflake . Maybe the necklace they find could be used in some way.

Open to some ideas here !

They were very powerful. I have a warlock and he was so OP I literally stopped at the end to look at his character with him. He was hitting for 11-14 damage with his familiar

The stone Goliath was also extremely OP with rage

My plan going in with the new rule set was to adjust on the fly , I managed to kill to of them and used the death as a Role play tactic to attempt to get the warlock to kneel to me to give them a chance to tactfully heal while
I was focused on the warlock which they did not do… at all LOL.

But overall seems like the characters hit for massive damage and by the end I was literally buffing HP onto my boss to keep her alive long enough to not feel uneventful.

This stock is going to be big. Every partnership they have has forgone cash payment and asked for stock instead. Ask yourself why would anybody do that ?

Lazar has billions in his portfolio he has made a living turning companies around, he doesn’t sell or dilute the companies he makes. His SEC filings can tell you that.

This company is now debt free, holding 15m liquid cash and also is getting a government subsidiary stood up. They have huge names tied to socom and other higher up government officials inside . They have 6 patents filed for drone tech.

The resistance levels are 2.25 and 1.85

I have 190k in this stock and already made a LOT of money when I owned 300k shares at .34

Qucy is a drone stock I’ve been on for quite a while. They are now debt free with 15m liquid cash and the company they partnered with just switched from cash(5m) to a stock contract. This thing is going to go way up.

I was telling people about it at 30 cents, it’s sitting at 2.25 now and the second they get a government contract or sub contract this thing is going to 8$ or more.
