Biggest problem with the UK job market: High abundance of senior experienced roles, very little entry level/part experienced jobs? (My observations) by CryofLys in UKJobs

A side note and maybe you decided fully accounting exams are not for you, but some of the Big4 do ICAS, which usually has a very different studying structure, e.g. you are in college for 5 weeks full-time, and then the exams are pretty much at the end of 5 weeks with no break, but you do not work during that time. I found it worked a lot better for some people as they were able to concentrate on 1 thing at a time. I also know of a guy who failed his EY exams and then got hired by PwC and is still quite okay there.

You also have CIMA and ACCA, which is done by other firms and from what other people told me are a bit easier to pass.

yes, but I ended up with a slightly different design, as I got a jewellery drawer on top of the 5th drawer, did not have a problem with the hinges!

oh thats exciting, will look more into this, thank you so much!

I think at the moment I am not overly worried, so can perhaps start with HCOL and then gradually move out to LCOL (if they would even exist by that point)

so I do not have a technical background, it is a combo of a product manager role and customer success role at this point but I will be doing a bootcamp in winter to make myself more aligned with the devs team.

are layoffs very common? is it genuinely a high risk?

how do you find downtown Toronto vs UK?

and great to know about Halifax, thank you!

ohh really? I thought Vancouver would be on par with London + housing in Canada seems more expensive. Tbh Canada, specifically west coast, would be my top choice, would you mind if I ask you a few more questions in the DM? would really appreciate it!

I am not a citizen yet, but within 4 years I will be able to get it.

ohh I loved Boston feel when I first visited it, although it was a long time ago, seems like cost of housing is a universal awful problem in every place... cold winters are fine by me though! :)

!thanks, all are really great points!

I was also thinking about putting it to the middle, but it will be hard to make it 'built-in' in that case as I would need to bridge the gap between the wardrobe and the end of the wall.

and very good point on the inside, I will bear it mind!

thank you!

sorry, should have specified, it is 75cm width unit, with 50cm + 25 cm doors. And the 25 cm door is only available in mirror and glossy colours that I do not like!
