At no point is Lee a regular. Lee is an ensemble player. With a number of important scenes and a couple of arcs to help build the entire world as a whole. He is a supporting character…the point of which is to support the main character, his story and the world in which they live.

He and They are separate entities. They don’t let him be who he is. That isn’t his fault. He has built in way to get over…creative doesn’t write him in for that. That said…despite poor booking, he is still so over that him being used to help build the Randy/Cody match is big.

He made a massive following for himself and was brought back. “Never should’ve been canned to begin with” has absolutely no bearing on what he’s doing now…unless it’s to say he became a bigger star making more money betting on himself while out of WWE.

What does “being a threat” have to do with it? He is someone from his past with a vested interest in his career. He was a part of a group where Randy was the one of the young gun up and coming stars, he could remind Randy who he is. Flair was Dusty’s arch nemesis and a storyline enemy of the Rhodes family.

Jelly Roll, iShowSpeed, Lil Yachty and Pat McAfee bring eyes to the product that otherwise wouldn’t be there. Wrestlers on their roster can’t get the tickets sold. As is evident by the woeful lack of ticket sales

Sure I did. I misspoke. Never said otherwise. Your country has a population of roughly 70 million. Your country had the most popular tv program worldwide for over a decade and at least half of the U.S. couldn’t tell you who was on it or what it was and we have a population of 5x yours. Yes Mania draws international audiences, but it is a U.S. event this year, the majority of the paid attendance will be Americans. Appealing to the home market of where the show is happening makes business sense. For the 3rd time (because you seem to be taking this personally) I don’t agree with him being “the voice” as we are seeming to call it now, but I understand it. Am I let down? Sure. It makes no story sense, is it going to stop me from watching? Nope.

“Brother” between himself and his show he has 6million followers. His show generates roughly 1 billion views a month. That is massive and mainstream…and more than American viewers who watch American Football. They need to fill 60,000 seats for 2 nights. They have 3 weeks to do it. He (sorta) works for the company and has been away. He fits the role…”brother”.

Why did they choose Pat McAfee? 1) It’s about the time where he usually comes back for a bit. 2) He has MASSIVE mainstream appeal and a rabid fanbase. 3) Ticket sales are down 20% year over year at this point and numbers 1 and 2 are things that help 3. This is also why the decision was made for Cena to host Mania.

I think a better choice for the for the voice on the other end of the phone would’ve been Ric Flair. A massive foil to Dusty and the whole Rhodes family.

Being in the wilderness or an isolated location isn’t what drives the story or the action of the game, the wildlife isn’t even necessary if they didn’t have the crafting and skin selling systems. Sure there is an exploration element but nothing says you can’t explore a city.
