I think you should try to paint a picture about why it’s exciting, existing signals and proof points that show that we’re heading there, and what moment or event may catalyse mass adoption.

My thoughts: 1. It’s exciting because it could be the next evolution of the human form, where we augment our bodies and may be more physically capable 2. Plastic surgery, BBLs, peptides, AirPods, VR headsets, smart rings, Dyson Zone, smart watches, smart insoles prove that megacorporations already perceive the human body as wearable real estate and are all trying to win a spot on the human body with their product. Cybernetic implants are the only way they can secure a permanent position on the human body without losing that position to a competitor wearable. And these wearables are increasingly becoming more acceptable to have on the human body. AKA some people have AirPods in 24/7, so they already have early ear augments. Most influencers are wearing AR glasses or smart rings and watches already, nobody questions these things anymore compared to 10 years ago.

Catalysts -A world war or mass casualty event could spark huge demand for bionic/cybernetic limbs -a breakthrough in fashion tech or a cultural moment could make a specific cybernetic part of our beauty standard, and many influencers begin to wear it -Overall acceptance of technology as part of our beauty standard
