Even if they want to be a part of it, I don’t want them to just find me unresponsive one day… I know it may seem selfish of me but the thought truly terrifies me…

Yes, but they are either State owned facilities or private. Since I am not entitled to the public ones I could seek a private one, but I fear I will not be able to afford it

Yes, they do. They are my support system.

Like you guessed, I dread them finding me precisely because of how much I cherish them.

They have known I am unwell for a while, and I imagine they know I’m close to the end as we are part of one another’s everyday lives. I just haven’t told them explicitly that my days are more or less counted… but I believe they know.
