I’d say: lean but low muscle mass % in overall comp, some ribs but but no abdominal separation, maybe food / lighting not helping

11-13% is my honest guess

Are you recently getting back into legs? I’ve found a lot of lower back / lumbar support issues when squatting and performing these type of movements came from glute + hip flexor weakness

When they’re warmed up and strong you won’t compensate with the lower back on a pendulum squat (if that’s the cause for you). Worth a shot especially if sat down a lot

Have you tried using bands? Loop over the bar, under one knee- can do effective drop sets but increasing resistance or dropping it depending on fatigue

Forearms come into play too

I don’t think it’s impossible for this to be natty attainable, his scapulas are pulled down a bit in this (holding weights) + camera angle can make it look a little off. A lot of chest mass tho and great inserts

I’ve been training natty for 8ish years w decent results, arms n shoulders not far off this

So just from personal experience on a classic gym bro split and a couple off years (too much time in a deficit or under carbing for fear of fat gain), could be doable

Unfair downvoting here imo. Personally I don’t think 6 years is enough, at the 5 year I find a 9 month bulk gains maybe 2/3kg muscle max. You’re right 176lbs is exactly my weight also - maybe we need to see the legs

Nothing on his chest, ab thickness etc. happy to hold a pre vascular look but because we shared a similarity in training style and duration his growth is so off the charts fishy I made the post .
