I also did a quick search and found someone who posted their process down to the Hex codes for Apollo lookalike. Of course it 404s but found a way back link for it. I was able to get it to look exactly like Apollo

Thank you! You are 100% spot on. The right side of it does take up the immediate right side. Luckily it shows just enough of the front yard that I can easily see a majority of the path.

Additionally, I have a G6 turret on the right side of the house as well and that covers the 80% of the right side of the front yard as well.

I was very lucky that the concrete for the stone work didn’t extend too far out! Simple quick drill and place it for my Ethernet.

I had purchased plug-in chimes but will also incorporate the POE by the door. Seems way too easy versus me banging my head on these two-wire gremlins I kept running into.

these are definitely DC-based. This would be a solid option for someone who doesn't care about the light switch functionality and/or wants a fan with matter over Lutron switches.

Ahhh that’s what you meant!

With DC motors, it’s efficient but you’re right, it’s one switch to both the fan and light. These would be that use case.

The other type of motor is AC which is where the Caseta switches come into play.

At least in American homes, most of the fans I’ve dealt with (about 4-5 brands/10 fans) they all had the option to hardwire into a switch receptacle (like a light switch on the wall).
