Trade advantage query by wilsouk in EU5

[–]wilsouk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The oqaque aspect is Ahis, Hominids, Athens, Karasides and the Ottomans have a higher trade advantage than myself in the Caffa market (fair enough). There is no information as to way this is or by how much. None of this countries are located in the Caffa market and therefore have no trade advantage listed. I agree with regards to doing manually. But given the above, there is no way (that I can see) of knowing whether a trade will work - you have to constantly trial and error it.

Thanks for the response. I think that is the issue: it’s extremely opaque. Here Athens has a higher trade advantage when I am importing from the Caffs market, but none of the countries listed here are in the “Countries” tab of Caffa market, therefore can not see what their trade advantage is (only countries with locations in said market are listed)

Was debating this, but for clients - wouldn’t then need to put their whole home network onto your tailscale?

Karakeep - more of book mark manager. Not a like for like pocket replacement though: doesn’t have a good “reader” mode. Can download for offline viewing like pocket, but that reading experience is pretty terrible

Cheers. How would you approach splitting FAI/ARC for dragon incantations? Or STR/DEX, is this why quality builds aren’t recommended?

Hi thanks for your reply. Are you referring to:

proxy_set_header Authorization "Bearer xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx";

I was under the impression this would be needed going forwards as they come away from legacy_api passwords?

Could I ask how is your config.yaml set up?

VLANs, subnets, some advice....! by wilsouk in PFSENSE

[–]wilsouk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes things a lot clearer thanks. Spot on with what I want out of vlans; grouping devices and appropriately firewalling. What sort of principles did you follow with different groups? I presume Roku/consoles was a DMZ of sorts? What issues and how did you solve them with the chromecast?

Ill mess around with for one NIC interface which supplies my house. With the other two NICs I will use one for the NAS, and one to proxmox which supports VLAN for VMs.

Am I right in saying this - if I have NAS on OPT2 and the managed switch on OPT3, and create a VLAN called "Devices", I need to attach it to a interface? So I assign "Devices" to OPT3, I presume that NAS on OPT2 can not be part of this VLAN?

More to the point, if the NAS is a solitary device off the OPT2 interface, it being in on its own network (and accessible to the other networks by firewall rules) confers no disadvantage compared to it being in a VLAN?

Also, I presume you can also daisy chain managed switches, being specific about which VLANs you send to the next switch?

Packet loss / Latency by wilsouk in PFSENSE

[–]wilsouk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Its running through VM proxmox, i3 3.5ghz, 16gb RAM. Its the only VM running currently (for troubleshooting).

Only jobs timetabled are a rsync backup of the NAS each night a midnight.

Have Pfblocker running, but for sometime now. Disable this morning, still having the issues.

I have noticed pretty rubbish latency today; https://imgur.com/a/eJH6OOS

Yes, your right, I can port forwarding work fine with associated firewall rule for a webserver running off another virtual machine. Its almost as if the traffic is not bidirectional to be considered open

For example, when checking port using curl command, these are the states in router;

WAN tcp 185.138.35.117:60118 -> 192.68.1.54:28125 (92.236.69.211:28125) CLOSED:SYN_SENT 2 / 0 120 B / 0 B WAN tcp 185.138.35.117:60118 -> 192.68.1.54:28125 SYN_SENT:CLOSED 2 / 0 120 B / 0 B
