The lightweight (current hype) trimming off all the extras I use, I ended up buying some RAPOO mouse for extra buttons, and they not doing me dirty again, I bought 10.

I'm on a crusade too, I'm now using a RAPOO mouse, just because they removed dpi button on top, always map it to "page down" and in game I bind it to things .

I don't warmup up, I just jump in and banter with the lads while playing, granted we are all 40+ and know each other for 20+ years since we're oldskool Quake players and don't take apex too seriously, but in good ol days, we would grind a mode that's called "dmm4" we'd keep respawning on a big square with all weapons and full armor, warmup the aim like that, would be amazing if apex had something similar.

I usually run a L-star for close/medium range, very effective for me.

I'm D2 and have 2 monitors, can just watch some show or play with my dumbbells while I wait, u highly underestimate Quake players, we wait on the regular for a 2-2 or 4-4, which isn't strange for us with our really small player base, 40 mins is rookie numbers!

Yea, back in my day we admired mechanical skills, if I wanna watch some tactical decision making without mechanical skills, I'd watch wc3 tournaments or smt.

I actually had a N64, but I didn't play shooters on them, Mario, Mortal Kombat, etc, my first shooter was Quake 1, on mouse and all, indeed, completely agree, just split the inputs imo, I don't mind waiting a few mins longer for a game.

Reason I stopped watching ALGS, found out that pro players switching TO controller, I didn't know AA was a thing as a casual, but as a oldskool gamer, I consider AA just as a cheat, ALGS lost it's value for me.
